While you technically don't. In my experience seeing level 5 essays and ones which the AQA website advertises, there is some (minor) comparison and conclusions. Not a necessity, but if you have the time, it doesn't hurt :)
Hi, in the exam I didn’t make a final sentence judging overall value of the source at the end of each block paragraph But I constantly referred to the question when analyzing and said “this therefore makes source valuable” etc. throughout I also think I did well on all the other assessment criteria Do you think not having this final sentence will significantly affect my level or cap me at a certain level even if everything else was good??
Okay so, comparing is not a requirement. This is a minor error in this video and we're making an updated video for new students. However, it came from a great many level 5 essays I have read and seen on the AQA website which do compare. Generally speaking, comparing won't get you additional marks, but it also will not be the reason why you're failing either.
