- Today I will cook a special Filipino breakfast for my wife and son and will surprise them in bed. I am sure that most of you know how to cook a Filipino breakfast but I hope to hear from you how you make it extra special...when they wake up in the morning they can smell the coffee and sweet longganisa as well as fried eggs and Pinoy garlic rice...I prepared it with love...

Longganisa ingredients:
Ground pork / beef mixture 500g
Sugar (brown is preferred) to taste
Salt 1-2 teaspoons
Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
Vinegar 1 tablespoon
Spicy or sweet paprika powder (1-2 tablespoons)
Freshly chopped garlic (6 - 8 cloves)
Black pepper to taste

Tutoo yan, ang mga taga Netherlands (Dutch) mababait yan, pati na ang mga taga Norway (Norwegian) very respectful at responsible na mga tao. Hindi pati ma-arte lalo na sa pagkain, marunong kumain ng mga seafoods. Basta laking Europe, Hindi laking USA 🇺🇸, spoiled brats!!!

I like tinapa or smoked fish drizzled with kalamansi, scrambled egg and plain freshly cooked “mainit” na Kanin or fried rice, hot coffee, and fresh fruits like papaya or ripe mangoes .. we can add also chopped tomatoes to the tinapa as combo veggies with (or without) a little patis to taste

Thats how i prefer my longanisa to be cooked, allowing the sugar to caramelize slightly for that hint of burnt sugar bitterness that I enjoy. 😋

Joey, it would had been better if you sauteed your garlic and rice in the pan where you fried your longganisa. It would be tastier and smells good.
