    I'm Southern so of course I like it fried! I cut it lengthwise like french fries batter them and dip em in ranch. I sometimes sprinkle them with parmesan and garlic right out the grease! I also cook it au gratin style sometimes.

    The dollar stores have a shaker you can buy and that would be a good way to sprinkle the spice in evenly. Also, facon (fake bacon) recipes call for soy sauce and/or amino acids.

    I use the set of magnetic measuring spoons from Amazon.
    round one end and elongated on opposing end.

    We don't eat much eggplant around here. Every once in a while Blinda will cut it into cubes and fry it. But that looked really good, Carrie.

    I'm always optimistic when I cook eggplant. But for some reason, I don't like them so much. I try to. Lol. I guess I need a good recipe. 👍🏻

    8:04 145 means 63 C for 4 hours or until crispy?

    Why not cut the long way into straps like bacon?
