For someone with an offer to study medicine in September, it’s so lovely to see a personal documentation of the profession as well as great programmes such as GPs behind closed doors

extremely helpful seeing GP work thru the day! I love your energy and passion toward work! Also the lifestyle out of work too~~ Hope you keep your bright spirit! I am an intern and searching for which residency program to go with. Still searching but I am a laid back person and struggled during med school and have low self confidence about my sharpness that is needed in busy department~. I came across your video and thought the OPD interests me... I like patient interaction but dont want to get my self always on edge to not fail the system that I am a part of... I wish you have some word of advice for me! Thanks for the video~

Most people think that GP is just for cold and flu disease. So can you share with us some cases and how you managed them?
I greatly appreciate that because I am really interested in being a GP

Hello thanks for your video. I recently finished GP training in Malta and considering relocating to the UK. I have no previous experience in the NHS or working in the UK. I know there is an International Induction Programme offered by the NHS for this purpose. Do you think it would be an overwhelming process, considering I would be alone? Our training was based on UK guidelines and we used the same materials used for the MRCGP UK. Thank you 😊

Sports med, hospitalist, Emergency, Gyne, Ortho outpatient..These are some of the subspecialties in GP...And Why will you want to return to India!! and if you really come, you will have a Job but Not so Good. If you want to remain in India , then do specialist training in internal medicine and then subspecialty in further branches( Family medicine is not a established branch in India yet )

@iniohos2 So what do you recommend? That everyone works in a hospital and that there are no primary care centers? Or are you suggesting that GPs should do more intubations? Even if it is not necessary. With that level of lack of basic reasoning and total lack of logic in what you say, I don't even understand how you managed to get into medical school. It's like a police officer is saying that firefighters are very boring because they don't shoot firearms and we should all be policemen. A little reasoning please. All branches of medicine are important and just as necessary.
