It is helpful to quickly locate a view or revit family in the project. It's the little things in life. :)

You are really good at this, but I have a hard question. I have a project where we have a "butterfly" roof that slopes in at a 4:12 and the valley slopes down at a 1:12. Do you have any idea how I would draw a compound slope in Revit?

    Hi
I enjoyed your tutorial, It is very clear. Roofing is a very interesting study. The ecstatic of the house changes completely. I have just completed a 'L' shape house with the gable end in the middle. It was only possible because of your teaching.
I am trying find a video that would show me how to change ridge position without changing the pitch of roof. Can it be done? If so, could you please put up a video on how to do that.
Furthermore, I am also trying to see a video that shows how cut part of a existing roof under new construction phrase but, it will yet appear on existing phrase and also
how to place two different roof cladding on one plane?
I would appreciate it if you could help me please.

+nira bottinga I don't understand the question. Can you re-phrase it for me?

      Thank you for replying.
My question is Gable roof has a Ridge where the triangle meet at the top. I need to cut off, on one side, part of the roof plane. At the same time I need to add a new roof plane with a different angle starting from the place where I cut it off the existing roof plane.
I need to show in different phrases the existing, part which is to be demolished and the attached new roof.
The problem occurs when I want to cut part of the exg. roof plane the exg. roof ridge shifts. But in real life it does not happens as in Revit.
So I want to know how to keep the exg ridge as is and yet cut part of the roof plane.
