I like the way how you taking time to explain the basics first. And then go ahead and explain how things can be achieved in a more efficient way. Every single detail is nicely flow through and easy to understand. Thank you.
thank you for the great knowledge that you have given to me it is a great help on mine specially my TVE track today is technical drafting !!!!!!!!!!!once again thanks a million hearts....
This Architectural designer he’s the best .. it took me a long time to understand AutoCAD.. But with Revit it’s too easy for me . I don’t like AutoCAD I like Revit too much
Thank you for the tutorial. i have a general question, and this is what kept me away from Revit for years, as a designer i dont like the idea of being limited to certain shapes. what i see so far (and i confess im a beginner) is that there is a certain method you have to follow to create anything, from a wall to a sloped roof. but what if i want to create a non uniform shape? like a free style steel structure at the top of my building or completely crazy staircase etc.. can i do that with Revit? im not looking to learn how at this stage, just to know if it can be done or not. thank you
Hi. YES- You can produce absolutely "ANY" form in Revit that you can envisage. It is VERY common for Beginners to think that they are constrained to a palette of basic shapes. This is most certainly NOT that case. Keep in mind that this is a Beginners Course- so my aim is to just get you guys up to speed (ASAP) with the basic tools. In future courses I will be taking people through a whole range of intermediate and advanced topics. One of these will be a VERY detailed course on Content Creation, where I'll show you how to make ANYTHING that you can think of.
The first one after the free one will be "The Ultimate Guide to Revit Walls". I'll go into every aspect of Revit Walls- junctions, stacked walls, reveals, insert wrapping, etc 😃
Mr. BIM.... great video instruction... I've figured out how to create the roof, and manipulate the structure of the roof, but how do I create the soffits and eaves to be more realistic? Most of the homes I design do not have a sloped soffit. Is that done by using the sweep function separately from creating the roof?

Great! One relatively short tutorial covers the subject from A to Z! Thank you very much!

+George Hobel Please check out the Roofs Masterclass, at the BIMscape website
After creating an opening in the roof, if we want to remove it, what should be done? How to get back to the original roof without any opening?
Thank you for this!
how do you do a split level roof?
8:29 my roof don't have lines like you've shown huhuhu, how do u do that, i've followed the steps tho
Which lines specifically don’t you have?
