- Fondly known as the man in the white boots, Alan Ball was a top notch midfielder and one of the leading players in England's 1966 World Cup triumph.
The fiery red headed midfield marvel is recognized as an Evertonian and a Gooner legend for his exploits at Everton and Arsenal respectively.
💙An Everton Legend! 💙
I’m a life long spurs fan , loved him at Everton , then he went to Arsenal ffs .. but couldn’t help but grudgingly still love him … brilliant player ..
No England midfielder today can play like Alan Ball..one of the reason England won the world cup in 1966.
The most underrated England football players ever...he was Xavi and Iniesta put together..
You can see it straight away.. a natural born dribbler... he had the courage to dribble.. wanted to dribble .. and could dribble... if he trained like they do today he would obviously been a great player.
Alan Ball was a great midfield maestro.
He was more an Everton player than an Arsenal player. With Everton he won the League Championship in 1970 and was of course a Toffeeman when representing England in Mexico that same year.
When England won the World Cup in 1966, was still a Blackpool player, though.
I'm related to Alan ball on my grandmother's side
So ?
Wow this man is amazing!
Indeed, a brilliant and an underrated footballer

@@footballsgreatest2645 I haven't seen it yet.Thank you so much !!
0:39 What did the defender do 💀
He looks a terrific player. I get the impression that his name doesn't seem to crop up when people are listing the great English midfielders like Hayes, Charlton, Robson, Hoddle, Gascoigne, Gerrard, Scholes. I don't hear him mentioned that often, at any rate. Where would people rank him among these legends?
Here to say RIP Lawrence
Reminds me of Sancho just better
