- Quick and easy how to video on solar aerator setups, what works, what doesn't, and how effective it can be even during the middle of winter... If you are wanting to have a pond that is clear, supports BIG fish, almost zero algae, and no winter fish kill, make sure to watch!
Links below on what I have used for my solar setups and have worked great.

Super cool!
Nice video. Im trying to figure out what size batteries ill need to power my Vevor 550W 3/4hp aerator. Already have a 400W panal and 60A MPPT charger and a 3000W invertor.
If you're running a 550w pump you'll want to have several panels and batteries. I ran a lower wattage pump because it's rare we always get sunny days, so would have reduced wattage being generated to begin with, wanted that extra buffer. It's doable, but you'll want a lot of panels and batteries for it! The MPPT will help tremendously but you want more panels to keep the pump going and the battery charging at the same time.
Nice setup. What size pump did you use? Is it noisy?
I have a 50W/1110 GPH air pump from Amazon, works great. Not too noisy at all.
Thanks, surprised the 50w can run both aerators. Trying to decide between something similar or a pricier septic style aerator.
Thanks for this video - very helpful. Did you use concrete to hold the frame stable? Or just plant it a few feet deep?
Hey thanks for watching! Used a bag of quikrete just to make sure it wouldn't move and buried it 30" deep.
