Thanks for sharing these insights. My tradingview daily charts for NQH/ESH all have their daily opens at 6pm New york time (this is when a new daily candle is printed). Why do we not use this as reference but midnight/8:30 New york times instead for OHLC/OLHC candle? Thanks
@@TTrades_edu thnx for reply, but I thought this theory is to look for manipulation on daily candle to look bullish/bearish to trap retail before reversing? Could this theory be used for actual candle opens too?

Today is another interesting day at the US500. 8:30 was the high of the day. The midnight opening price was well below. Now which one to watch at this time? Because one is bullish and one is bearish.

It seems that NY always takes some liquidity. So perhaps it is safe to assume and set trades on both side of liquidity wait for it to grab one first...
can you do a video on market profiles? Like the buy day , sell day example. Are there other kinds? Seems badass that you can make a days worth of PA alittle more predictable 😮
Good video! What about PM session? Would you only look for moves back to midnight or 8:30 like you said in the video or could you use like 12:00 open before lunch?
Thanks for the nice information, please give me the below question answer 1. This rule is applicable only for SMP 500 pair or all like EU, GU, XAUUSD. 2. UTC-5, Daylight saving period or not? 3. Which indicator you are suggest for it? Thanks Again
Hi TT, great video. What concepts do we need to understand before applying this and do you have any links to your other vids that explain them? Thank you
Great video, thanks for doing this. Quick question for you. On Day 2, at the 8:30 open, we see price displace below it. Why would this not be a long setup?
I back tested the entire june month usdjpy only london session. What i did. If price is above or below 12am open i wait for change in delivery oposite to current price then enter on retest. Target 2r. 20 trades taken 77% win rate. Timeframe used only 15m. Watch his other vids to understand market structure first.
So, interesting discussion, and I understand the focus being on the 0:00 and 8:30 opens... But, the conflicts between the two Opens, Dealing Range, and Displacement Ranges, for actual high probable entries can be tough to seperate. If your point is to use the Opening Prices as a sort of bias or magnet, in spite of conflicting with Dealing Range and Displacement Range Premium areas, then you are basically saying Open Prices trump conflicts with other Price Action. If not, then, are you saying that ALL of these items should be in confluence AND then if a tight decision, possibly let the Open Prices push or BIAS the decision one way or another? Thanks for the great videos!
I think you're going a little too deeply into it. Sell day - want to sell over midnight or 8:30 open buy day - want to buy below midnight or 8:30 open price coming back into the range, I will target it along with PD arrays and Liquidity in the form of highs and lows
@@TTrades_edu I think that was pretty clear and the video was good. My question was, doing that, it sometimes has you taking a long in a premium range or a short in a discount range … So, that seems like a conflict ? Just curious if we should ignore the conflict and go with Open Price per the video, or wait until there is a confluence … Thanks !
@@geekone6621 My understanding is that Midnight Open price the algo considers it at fair value. Above midnight is premium and below is discount....obviously. I also use the New York Open to filter premium and discount. Today is a good example on NQ for 10/3/2023. During London Killzone price traded above Midnight open price(premium) to take out relatively equal highs then sold off. Price retraced back up into the hourly breaker block which was below Midnight Open, but above New York Open(premium). I used to take longs in premium or shorts in discount and always had a losing trade. I would also take into consideration which killzone you are trading. If London I would expect to buy or sell below or above Midnight Open. If trading New York, I would like to buy or sell above or below NYO at the very least. If it price somehow manages to retrace back to midnight open price then I would engage in price appropriately depending on the profile developing between Asia, London and New York sessions. I may be off in my explanation, however internalizing it like that definitely helps me.
