What the heck!!! I can make this as my one trading set up forever!!! I bet you do more than 2-4 trades a day. I only searched cisd to learn cisd but you gave a whole trading set up applicable even in 1m timeframe. What a great guy
Had another session today reading PA with no RSI or fancy indicators. It's quite remarkable and somewhat common sense once you start to get the hang of these concepts. I can't imagine what pro traders are doing because as a novice who on a great day was breaking even, these concepts have turned me slightly to the green side.
Your videos are jammed packed. Really instrumental and technical. I am a newbie and didn't grasp what you were saying until I came back from the chaos theory that the structure you and ICT described make sense. Thank you for the clear explanation around CISD..now I have stronger reason for my reversal ideas.
love how you break down the breaker/bpr concept into something as simple as the “box setup”; visually this has helped me identify these areas much more. thank you
Very nice video. Pair this with inversion and a MMXM and you pretty much have a very high win rate bullet proof strategy. (as long as you always keep the HTF direction in mind). Weekly expansion/ Monthly expansion like clock work. 🍻🥳
Going to be heavily reviewing this. Daily PD array to hourly referene to minute entry. Perfection. Need more vids using HTF to LTF. Repetition. Drill it in for anyone new.
I do really love the clarity of your explanations and take copious notes. I appreciate you taking the time to create these videos (for free)! I just want to note that on your example of entering NQ after the volatile open after the CSID, perhaps you would set the stop and target and wait for either to get hit, but in that massive consolidation that occurs after entry there are at least 2 other CSIDs that occur within it, with similar triggers at the instantiated order blocks. Sweeps below or above prior extremes then closes below or above the candles that started the sweeps. Hard to imagine anyone sitting through that volatility unless they are just taking all or none. Perhaps you do, but that example is not the greatest, and results in the impression that what constitutes each of these CSID phenomenon are just cherry picked after the fact. In real time, there would be enough confusion and whipsaw that only an all or nothing strategy could be followed. If one is taking clues from changes in the state of delivery in real time, they are going to be whipsawed out, in and back out before proceeding to the identified extension. Last thing. I know it is ICT's terminology that you are just repeating, but I wish someone would call out that the 'projections' of ranges that he is making are not "standard deviations'. Standard deviations are something entirely different. What he calls standard deviations are nothing more than 'projections' of the range of the balances. They are typically 50%, 100%, 150%, 200%, and some use Fibonacci extensions. But they are not standard deviations. To keep using this term and others like it ('reading the tape and order flow') really detract from some very insightful understanding of market movement on his part. I'll leave my dislike of his terms like 'consequent encroachment' , ''mean threshold' and 'equilibrium' for what are simply the midpoints of imbalances, wicks, order blocks and ranges for another day., I like your content and subscribed. Just trying to advocate for using accurate and simplified terminology.
not every close over a candle is a cisd. they need to come off an important level and have context. and yeah I actually prefer to trade prior to or just after 9:30est. standard deviations is just math, it is a standard deviation of a range, even if not typical. Sorry I do my best. Thanks
