This is a very simple explanation of what a Breaker Block is. TTrades really do make very good educational videos. This channel is a veritable gold mine on YT.
This was valuable. I would encourage more videos about how to interpret these breaker blocks, what their context is in relationship(s) to price action vis-a-cis tradability and what it means for price action in relationship to other elements (FVG’s, OB’s, etc.) in proximity, thus influencing/confluencing them.
@Horus FX I don't know what that is but ICT has been teaching this stuff for over a decade. It's not new either way; only this video upload is. Calm down.
Thank you so much @TTrades it took me while to get it but after your brief but detailed explanation I finally understand. I'm so grateful. I didn't get it after I watched ICT's video but now I fully understand

Thank you for your technicality but in a more simplified version. I have been confused as to what my trading model would be and i decided on this Breaker block and to see how you do it, it will make more life easier for my Backtesting.

Thanks for the explanation and examples. My question then would be, where would an entry be taken for either bearish/bullish breaker block. I know it would depend also on if a volume imbalance/gap/FVG is formed in the process.
Thanks for the vid. Your concise vid would have taken ict 90 minutes and who knows how many offshoots to insane rant topics. I would have given up after about 15 minutes, but understand the concept and your examples in 8 minutes. Well done.

Can we take reversal entry on these breaker blocks or do we supposed to wait for Fair Value Gap to enter? I also wanted to find out if there are more videos I can watch on the breaker block on his channel? Great video thx!
It truly depends what time frame you are talking about, but yes it is a reversal pattern. Waiting for a FVG or not is up to you and backtesting. Sometimes the breaker and fvg lines up. He should have more videos in his core content
@@TTrades_edu thank you so much for reply back. I really wish we can actually chat with Michael but I can totally understand where he is coming from. But at the same time, I greatly appreciate you taking time and helping us with your explanation videos and taking time to answer our questions. I always take entry on FVG because that is what I am studying 2022 mentorship and lots of time I have problem understanding why Daily is fluctuating into bull and bear in NY am session. Also I also have little problem understanding when the bear market how far the market can go up on buyside liquidity before it turns back into premium and towards discount. Because lately it has not been doing that. It goes up and maybe dip down a little bit in premium then go back out and keep going up. That throws me off. Do you have any videos on explaining that? When to know it is turning and taking an entry? I am so sorry I am asking you too much. I really am. You gave us a finger to hold and I am holding your whole hand. So sorry.
My way of looking breaker block is the swing point after which HH and LL Both are created in next swing . If you guys having to see then pls try this method ..
Slap a MACD and BB, you will see macd divergence, then a fast move down, so called FVG, price pierce the other side of BB, then retrace back to touch the opposition band, enter.
Would love to see you make a video about how to determine a FVG/Breaker is going to hold price - sometimes they got respected, breached by a single tick IOFED never reached MT, but other time price just racing through them like there is no resistance at all.
you can wait to see if the MT gets respected, wait for the displacement, AND THEN wait for the rebalance of the FVG after the MT was respected and the imbalance confirmed the move... I think you are entering right when the MT is touched and not waiting to see if it gets respected. And sometimes it flies without you and thats fine.. ending the day as if it's BE is better than a SL
agree with the comments below. another thing you can do is wait for candle closes. If you want more confirmation can go to a LTF and look for an entry model or OB to manage risk to and enter off of.
Thank you. I was wanting to also understand the scenarios that will lead formation of a bullish or bearish Brkr Block, as in real market situation it will be difficult to trade this. Does the HTF bias also play a role here, considering its a reversal pattern?
2:20 Candles and Valid Breaker blocks Full body vs small body and wicks . 3:45 TF 15 minutes and BEARISH Breaker block (last down bearish candle) High _Low then HH _ LL. Where is the Breaker Block?
