I guess that’s one take, wow, I mean these people work for multi billion dollar companies and they get paid crap. The fact that they are threatening raising prices for their fast food is simply repulsive and the perspective delivered and pushed by NBC news is truly mind boggling.
Their the biggest problem all in lock step if their smoke continues the public remains blind otherwise we would not be in the dark place we are today
if they reduced the advertising budgets ,they could pay them.
The last time the federal minimum wage was changed was in 2009 it went to $7.25 per hour. So, roughly 15 years ago.
Companies try to increase revenue by 5% to 10% annually. If you say 7% as an average, then companies have increased revenue by 105% in the same 15 years that federal minimum wage has not changed.
Nobody seems to think that this is an issue. Must just be me.
Raising minimum wage does nothing to help the working class, companies always pass on the cost to the consumer. So it’s negate-able.
Look no further than your McDonald’s receipt these days… $16 or more (depending on your location) for a cheeseburger meal.

You seem to think that the minimum wage is set to provide a life sustaining income, not so, thats what your career income is for, minimum wage is to provide a new upcoming workforce generally part timers in school or a transition of sorts a wage that helps in tbe same. Its not meant for people to raise a family and put kids through college and buy a house. And thats reality. Now look at what you have caused. And the worst is yet to come
