Rides way faster and the drops are wayy deeper in real life
Yeah my head got jacked around on this thing but this was the most fun that I’ve had on a wild mouse
I doubt that, wild mouses aren't particularly fast nor do they have steep drops
This is the most sorely missed coaster for me, cuz it's the ONLY coaster I rode that's getting demolished! It's one of my favorite roller coasters at Disney world!
Unlikely it is being demolished. It is a standard Mack wild mouse type ride that can easily be dismantled, sold, and moved somewhere else.
@@GFSwinger1693 i believe thwy are cposing it over the fatal accidents for workers there, but I could be wrong.
*they *closing
Ok this aged horribly 💀
RIP. Disney just announced it's permanently closed.
Wait, I Thought is Going to Reopen after COVID-19
@@andrewlehr5502 nope, they closed the ride permanently and remover parts of the ride already
What new dinosaur attraction is going to replace it?
I never got to ride this ride.
@@Ni-wx4dkit might not be replaced by another Dino attraction because it is being changed but I think it might be turned to goofy flight school
It’s funny cause this roller coaster has the same layout as a roller coaster called mouse trap you can find at fairs
yes!
That's why everyone liked it so much
A lot of older parts of Disney feel like you’re at a traveling fair
It's got the same layout as every wild mouse coaster in existence this includes wild mouses at fairs but also wild mouses at amusement parks. That's all it is, a themed wild mouse coaster
The layout isn't called mouse trap, that's just the name of the ride at the fair it was at. The layout is called wild mouse
This is one of WDW's most-underrated rides. I liked how you addressed and explained the theme of not just the ride but all of Chester & Hester's Dino-Rama, which is actually a mini-land inside of DinoLand, USA. I think it's one of WDW's most-misunderstood themes.
This is true. I didn't understand it until Josh explained in the video.
I know this may sound crazy. But I truly miss this ride. It has gotten to the point where I'll look up this video almost every morning and drink my coffee while it plays in the background. Thanks for this wonderful video and now I'm going to finish my coffee :)
Had to see this since it doesn't exist anymore.
This coaster will be sorely missed. So sad that it was gone
Essentially Goofy’s Flight School at DCA with the cars spinning.
R.I.P. to this amazing ride. It wont be forgotten🦕
I never rode this roller coaster because it didn't really stand out to me on my trips to Animal Kingdom. It's a shame I didn't get to ride it while I could because as of this comment the ride has been completely demolished, leaving only memories and videos like this behind. I think I overlooked it because it appeared to be a kitschy traveling carnival style roller coaster and from this video, that's exactly what it appears like what it intended to be. I mean, sure it's no Expedition Everest, but I think Disney benefits from having more thrill rides in their parks, even if they are simple ones like this one. If anything it looked smoother than Dinosaur. Thank you for uploading this video.
Awesome ride. I love the “side” information on the ride before the ride began. Such a classic, fun ride. Looks great during the day. I usually see this at night. Great job.
This ride is a great classic. Love this little beauties!
Great job Josh!!! What a cute ride. The sky and clouds really added to the first part. Just so colorful! Thanks!!!!
Great video Josh. I love Primeval Whirl. Thanks so much for sharing.
Great video! I felt myself getting queasy! I love the pre-show/queue for that ride with hubcaps, industrial mixer whisks, et al. used to create the bad 50s/60s era low-budget sci-fi effects. Thanks, Josh
Perfect ride for Summertime. The footage looks beautiful. Thanks for providing the background information; I never been on the it and didn't know about the ride.
This is one of my favorite rides! Thanks for the video!
gosh i can feel it just by watching it.. ouch. RIP
Thank you so much for the info before the ride, and yes it does have a lovely old time carnival feel to it! :) The video quality is awesome and the colors are so vivid! I went on with my grandchildren at least 4 times, one right after the other last summer!! You're right about it being a bit rough but totally fun! Thank you Josh :)
Great video. The images are so crisp and vivid. I have never ridden this ride and really don't plan to. I like how Stacy calls it the spin cycle.
Super Quality!Josh is da man!Keep up the good work, mate!
2:51 My favorite part of this ride is the conveyor belt sound.
I like this ride!! You're right. It gives that classic carnival feel. Great video, Josh!!
Excellent video as usual Josh. The ride was awesome view. Appreciate what you and Jenna Resorttv1 crew due on your videos
Awesome Josh! And thanks for elaborating on the choice of theming in this area! 👍☺
What a great way start your day with resorttv1 video
Excellent job! I love that ride and never thought about the payment and why it looked that way. I do enjoy the theming there. Just fun. Thanks for all you do!
R.I.P
I will miss this ride
Great video! Tony and I ride this multiple times when we go! We love it! 🙌🏻👏👏👏👏
Tony and Jeanine Hoppers well now it’s getting closed... 😢
love this ride 🥰
Loved this!
Great video!
I love this ride!
Great job Josh! Great Quality like always! 8 More Days till we are home!!!
This area used to have so many people, now it’s a ghost town
My all time fav ride at disney
Love it !
LOL, had no idea this was at AK. Fun looking! Thanks, Josh!
I have to admit, I have never been on this ride. Thanks for showing this, Josh.
You know something, I never understood the theme of this area and why everything looks the way it does until you explained it. I can't wait to go back to AK to look at this part of the park with a different perspective. Great video AND I learned something new!!
ahhhh back to our home park nothing like home!
my fav coaster in all of the parks
My son shot a video of us on this last year [from on the ride]. It's basically all of us smiling and laughing at every drop. I agree with you about the theme for this area being cool. I love it.
Thanks Josh!
Awwww I miss this ride!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
All the million dollar ride that have with crazy theming yet the spinning wild mouse in the corner was my absolute favorite
This is a favourite of mine, I always ride it. So glad we got to see it with your steady cam, Impressive quality as always Josh. Loved the info at the start, you just make my day! 🤗🌞
This ride looks like it would be so much fun. I have never done it before. I think I need to put that on my list.
Never been to Disneyworld but still sad I never experienced that ride. I’ll keep riding
Goofys Sky School at Disneyland Cali.🤙🏽
I missed this when I was at Disney last August - I love the cheesiness! Its on my must ride list next time I'm there. Thanks Josh!
Welp, too bad they announced it's closing. Came here to relive the experience since I probably won't be going until at least 2021 if not later.
@@whitneyg9150 this coaster can be found anywhere
Not cheesy
This rollercoaster reminds my of the one at lagoon here in Utah called the mouse trap.
That looked cool
What happened to the snacking around the world showcase series?
With the packaged foods by country
I miss that
Disney really should have build these as a mirror image of eachother. Have them kind of dual. Have the lifts run next to eachother.
I have always passed that ride out when in Animal Kingdom, because I dont like really steep hills on rollercoasters. It really didn't look that bad! I may try it on my next trip! Leaving for Disney World in 2 days!!!
When I went to Hollywood Studios at the time it was MGM Studios I went on this ride and I loved it it's like the Wild Mouse but a little bit tamer and it spins and goes backwards as well
This was at animal kingdom so not sure how you rode it there..probably thinking of the other one that's basically the same thing just different theming.
Hi! Love that ride!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! So fun!
“Don’t pickup any hitchhiking dinosaurs!”
I miss this coaster shame it was closed and torn down
Good video. IDK about the ride itself tho.
When I went on this, we were violently spun around the entire time. I was shook.
I've waited my whole life for this video! 😎🤘
I forgot this ride was a thing when I went to AK September of last year. I just walked into Dinoland and said "man this feels empty. I feel like something should be in this corner." Its still there on Google Maps as of March 19 2024 though! Also Primeval Whirl did the rotating car way before Guardians. Just sayin
You will be missed. 🕊
Am I the only person who loved this ride?
We have the same coaster with same name at our sox flags!
RIP
Was suppose to be a real ride but budget cuts led to this. Not bad
I think it would better fit into the ToyStory theming.
Pretty underrated coaster
Little cheesy but still good
I usually don't spend much (if any) time in this part of Animal Kingdom, but if I'm nearby and Primeval Whirl has 15 mins or less wait time, I'll hit it. It's just one of those classic fun rides! But I gotta say, that cuckoo clock in the beginning stays with me waayyyy too long and drives me crazy!
That area does look like as if you were in a carnival. It's very interesting
Painting that area was an absolute nightmare. Lol
This ride is very similar to Goofy’s Sky School at Disney California Adventure
i don't understand why people criticize this ride this is so fun and obviously like you said disney would never do anything without a thought process behind it
In 2020 Triceratop Spin is Restoring the ride Soundtrack!
Good ole fashion old time Virginia Reel ride
Sad to see this ride go hope they replace it with another coaster like Laff trak at Hershey park I think something like that would be a suitable replacement
Reminds me of the old wild mouse
It's all fun and games until you get to the spinney part! Really a cute ride but I know better than to get on it!
I never ride it because of the spinning parts. I'm afraid i wouldn't feel too good after that.
I rode two times, once when I was five and another time back about three years ago. Both times I rode this ride I almost threw up! It was horrible. I remember my mom thinking it would be a cute kiddy roller coaster (and I loved the Barnstormer when I was little) but it was horrible.
It’s gone
Hi ☺️👋🏻
Why is there Hipnosis spinners???
Mathu
In the immortal words of Aynsley Dunbar (or someone like him), "Twirlly, twirlly, twirlly."
I'm not sad this ride is leaving, does not feel like Disney did their best, its like the cheap knockoff Disney you buy off of wish
That ride made me dizzy!
Is this ride still there?
No, got demolished about a year ago
Yeah I can see why they are getting rid of it
I can't. It was perfect for the area and really fun.
Yeah it's a headache lol very jerky and painful tbh
Kind of think that if theming has to be explained then it isn't good theming.
Perhaps Josh realized that there would almost certainly be the unfamiliar and uninitiated watching his video, so he sought to enhance their understanding of the holistic experience of Diggs County, USA. Just a thought...
I like the theme! I just don't like the ride. Lol. It hurts!
My dad hates this ride. Not because of how it rode bit because it was ugly. He was like "i cant believe somthing like this is at a disney park" this did seem out of place. Whats weird is these 2 coasters always had a large line. Why demolish it when its popular and cheap to operate.
The issue with Dino land is that if you understand the theming and the story of the land it fits perfectly, but most people don’t know that and aren’t looking for that, so people leave unimpressed because it’s a parking lot fair.
This is area really is not 'Disney'. Get rid and re theme! Great vlogs though Josh....
I agree, except i'd petition to keep Dinosaur. It's one of the better themed attractions and has such an immersive and underrated queue. I guess Indiana Jones is still better at disneyland, so that would be a worthy replacement, so long as it's not another forced tie-in to a modern IP/remake
Will Olds
Dinosaur is a Disney movie
But I still like this ride
Disney is the only place you pay 400 dollars to ride carnival and flat rides
This ride is now being torn down very quickly I might add I’d love them to get rid of all of Dino land it’s not Disney related I’m sorry it’s not! It’s cheesy and outdated
1. It’s better for not everything to be Disney related, it allows for more creative freedom at the parks
2. Dinosaur is Disney related lol, it’s tied into the movie Dinosaur which came out in 2000, you can watch it on Disney+
3. Id be ok if they removed Chester and Hester’s it’s just kind of a “meh” land, but I don’t think the entirety of Dinoland should go, Dinoland does fit the park and I think that Dinosaur might be one of the more underrated rides at WDW
It's like a cheap carnival ride. This isn't Disney quality at all.
That's the theme of it
@@shawndye7751 - That doesn't actually make it any better.
Once you are in it even though what you say is true it still feels like a good rollercoaster
I thought this ride was good but it did jerk you around a lot not that much of a kid friendly attraction for Disney and it just looks like a cheap carnival attraction.
