I’m just getting started and planning on joining this company right out of trucking school, if you don’t mind me asking, what is your weekly pay and do you get paid per load on top of that as well?
@@reginaldwright6553 it ain’t hard you just lazy and not cut for it fam, trucking got you lazy. If rolling some boxes down a slide hard work than you need to stick to no touch freight lol

This through werner? Also can your rollers extend all the way to the front of the trailer? Just wondering cuz that'd be a pain to walk all the way and back to them. Thanks for the video
@james Gonyner Im with swift. And we are assigned 6 8ft rollers and 1 4ft roller you will use all 6 8ft rollers on 53 ft trailers anything less than that you only need 5 sets of 8ft rollers and of course your short one. Stay tuned for more content 👌🏾
I delivered GoodYear Tires with DHL/EXEL...its similar except had to deal with Commercial, dealer, usps, walmart tires truck loads...its strenuous but I was in my best shape...and actually kinda miss it...lol

@@TheLuckyShepherd awesome you will be just fine it doesn't take long to catch on and your backing skills will be on point real quick because those stores are in tight areas. You might drive a little at night because the time has changed so most likely you will drive in late evenings but all depends on you also.
Any update on this route? Or something to stay away from? Literally this company crst I think called me offering me a dedicated route for this account at average $1800 before taxes weekly.
Yeah well it's not worth it. You gross on average $1,600 per week after taxes you could be taking $1,100 to $1,200. When you sit back and analyze it you'll realize that the pay just doesn't equate the work and to make things worse OTR drivers or accounts with no touch freight make the same amount and more. This type of account should have a flat rate of at least $1,800 take home
@@ikegarrett9802 yeah idk wtf he's adding up.. I never brought home less than 1,600 after taxes but it didn't go over 2k which is very well should. 2k should be the minimum guaranteed
Did family dollar for 7 months. Not worth it to me..you put your license on the line with backing that big ass truck into we’re you need it.If you hit something it’s your fault..All the labor that goes into it isn’t worth the money..I would make 15 to 1800 a week..So if you’re don’t mind taking a risk with your license by backing into incredibly small spots we’re cars can jump out at anytime,or someone walking behind the truck.etc..hey go for it
I feel you. I thought they would at least have the decency to only send Day Cabs and 48ft trailers to these tight ass locations. Naw, 53ft with a Sleeper, they can keep their $8,000 to 10,000 a week. Now that I have my own authority I'm doing those same dollar numbers over the road, and no unloading!
