I recently got rid of probably the 10th over my lifetime (71 yrs) conventional grill and upgraded to griddle cooking and went to UA-cam for how to info. I saw your video where you said to use any type of oil you want and pay no attention to the “you MUST use only this or that type oil” folks. You are very good at what you do in how to cook different dishes, meats etc and presentations are excellent. You are my Griddle Guru. No more flame-ups and cleanup is very quick indeed. Pretty soon I will do my 1st ever Stir Fry thanks to you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from coastal North Carolina.
Ok did my first cook for lunch ,bacon cheese smash burgers with grilled onions and toasted buns for lunch, stir fry tonite thanks Todd you rock Praise the Lord

I just love the live videos and it does prove how simple it is to create a quick meal on the blackstone griddle. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Praise the Lord!

Great vid Todd but for those not cooking for a family anymore or don't have a 36" Blackstone don't despair. We have a 17" down here for the winter in S. AZ. and we make delicious stir fry's that makes our neighbors drool with envy. Actually some have bought Blackstone's to join us.

Fun Fact: the Microwave thaws ground meat super quick. Remove meat from any packaging (you might need to soak in water for a few minutes to get the meat to release from the package), and place on a paper plate, cover the meat with a paper towel, Nuke for 30 seconds and let rest , Nuke again for 30 ( I'm now cutting Veggies, grating Cheese etc. ) now Nuke again for 30 seconds and let it rest when you're finished with the cutting/prep, lift up the paper towel and start fluffing the meat pull away the thawed meat from the frozen and start Nuking for 15 seconds and you'll be done in just a minute or two. Using the short bursts keeps the meat from cooking, the plate is full of the released juice's from the meat, just add all to the Griddle and toss the plate in the trash.
Good job! I'm getting the 1901 three burner tomorrow. Do you like that one? Enough room? There's only two of us and a dog makes three, but I'm hoping it's big enough to grill for friends too (that doesn't happen too often though). Cheers!

Hi there - Thanks for watching! I released several videos over the past weeks. Also, please make sure you are subscribed over at UA-cam.com/BlackstoneGriddles as that is where my weekly Let's Give It A Try show is!!! It's the middle of the winter. Most Walmart Garden Centers are tied up with Christmas & holiday stuff. You'll start to see them in the Garden Centers, along with all the new accessories between late January and April (depending on whether you live down south or up north). Have a Merry Christmas!
Todd where can I get the hinged cover for my 36" Blackstone? Great video. Also i will be going to wally world this week and now I put the Blackstone sauces on my list.
Hi Jim - Make sure you watch my video on the sauces. There's a good chance you're not going to be able to find them. It's only December. You won't see them countrywide until March-May. Watch my sauces video! Blackstone does not make an after-market/retrofit hood. The main reason is because Blackstone has many many models. They couldn't make 20 different retrofit hoods to fit all the old units. Plus, most of the older units would not be able to have a hood attached to them because the bases would not be heavy/sturdy enough take the weight displacement of a hood on it. I hope that makes sense. Having said that, over the past 2 years you're seeing more and more units come with attached hoods. At this time, you'll have to upgrade to a unit with an attached hood if you want one. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. God bless!

They around $125 or so and an entire new griddle, of that style, at Walmart will run you only about $249 - At the end of this past season, some stores marked them down to $100-$150 to make room for Christmas stuff.
