I really love Ylang Ylang, and even before I was into perfumes I enjoyed my Ylang Ylang essential oil and found it very comforting 🥰 Some of my favourites with this note are Narciso Ambree, Tom Ford Santal Blush, Avon Far away gold, and of course the beachy ones like Guerlain Terracotta and Replica Beachwalk 🤍💛
Hi Heidi: You're not stupid at ALL! I know EXACTLY what you mean when you say that after sampling even the ones you love it takes a long time to get the bottles, but when a fragrance comes along that we "need" and we blind buy it, it happens INSTANTLY. I totally get it!!! I'm starting to enjoy ylang-ylang as a note. I had Sun when I was 18, and I think it's been reformulated because it doesn't smell to me at ALL the way it used to. BUT you describe it perfectly! Ylang ylang makes me think of tropical vacations, and so, like coconut, I only wear my fragrances that have or feature this note in July and August. But I think I can learn to love it at other times. I love how much preparation and study you do to bring us your informative and helpful videos. Thank you so much! I now realize that whenever I smell banana it's the ylang ylang. That makes so much sense! That's why I CANNOT with the Elie Saab Le Parfum. Just banana for me! Looking forward to your coming videos! :)
Hello Julija 🌞 It makes me happy to see I'm not that stupid I thought 😂 But I think I should buy a bottle when I love the scent. Often it's a period where I really adore and enjoy the fragrance. So sometimes my own hype is over the highest point, when I finally purchase it 🙈 And to save the money, of course less blindbuys 😉 to be honest, the most big loves in my collection were no blindbuys 🤷♀️ This warm yellow tropical feeling makes ylang ylang so wonderful 🥰 I can see that people like to wear it more in summer 🌞 but it's in almost every second floral of mine, so I wear it the whole year 😅 So intersting to hear, you only get banana 🍌 I wished, I would get this smell more 😉
Ylang ylang is something I am learning to love. It can be so sunshiney or banana like. It's a very yellow smell! nosey be is definitely having a moment right now and I would love to try Sun, some people seem to love it, others hate it, not much in between! ❤️
Hello Claire, Ylang Nosy Be is definitely one of the best ylang ylang perfumes 🥰 Sun is a typical 90ties fragrance, so not everybody likes this nower days 😅
Hi Heidi! You have a such lovely yilang yilang fragrance collection 😍 Loooove the privé line of Dolce and Gabbana. I have Amber skin. A pretty warm inviting amber. I like yilang yilang in Prada la Femme and narciso Ambrée. Like it in Chanel no 5 as well. It is growing on me which I didn't expect.
Thank you Souad 😘 I would love to try more of this Dolce&Gabbana line, but I can't try or sample them... have to blindbuy and they are hard to find. 🥲 Yes, Narciso Ambree is wonderful 😍🥰👌
Hi Heidi😘! Love the decor. So feminine 😍. Ylang Nosy Be is so creamy and beautiful... Very tempted by it after testing it in store. And I totally relate to hesitating buying a perfume that I love and from which I have a decant. I keep on sniffing the decant, telling myself that I don't need a full bottle just yet... But I don't hesitate so much with blind buys 🙉😅
Hello Lily 🤗 The creamy texture makes Ylang Nosy Be so wonderful, isn't it? 🥰 So happy to hear, I'm not the only one with this strange behavier in relation to decants 🙈😅
I’m looking for a ylang ylang perfume strong in the ylang ylang, jasmine, and neroli (or orange Or orange blossom) with a little sweetness like vanilla or coconut notes and also a little woody or spicy undertones, something balanced between sweet and woody, with minimal powdery notes, which ones would you suggest? I’d love your opinion, thanks

Hello Tammy Roxanne, thank you for all these recomandations 👌🤗 I also have my Ylang Ylang essential oil, love it 💛
I crave the Mont Blanc Absolue, and I am looking for reviews of it.

Hi beautiful Heidi! Safanad is so stunning! 😍
Oh, yes, wonderful luxurious perfume 🥰👌
Hello Heidi,
these scents sound wonderful! I haven't smelled any of them. The Noisy Be sounds the best of them all. - Jenn
Hello Jenn 🌞
Yes, it's the best with the most prominent ylang ylang 👌🥰
