Just found your videos. Appreciate them because you use terms that I have to teach my girls and get looks like I'm growing a thrid eye. As a lifelong setter, you're saying everything I have and demonstrate in the same way. Hoping your videos help my girls.
It was very helpful for someone like myself who just wants to understand from a coaching standpoint. It was informative yet instructional, and it did what it was supposed to do for me. My ask is, as she mentioned in the video, could you provide the setting diagram? I know this video was created a couple of years ago.
This is a video on how to coach. It's meant to be absorbed individually, then re-processed in your own setting. Not all videos are shorts showing 1/3 second instruction and everyone fills in the gaps. Bless any athletes you coach....

True story: my wife grew up next door to someone who was on Olympic team. Her mom taught college volleyball. Your two comments on YT just proved that “people” like you have no place in anything that has direct influence on anyone, unlike the actual human in this video. Everyone starts somewhere and this lady in this channel would swim laps around you in the real world arena of life mentoring skills. Have fun meeting karma when you’re in a proverbial ditch someday and the Junior College bus of life passes you. Why is she making them extend! You never wanna fly your hands out, you wanna keep them in a triangle
The idea is that you will have more accuracy and be able to set further when extending. The triangle is what you want when you make contact.
