  • Bypass Amen Break Generator and Bypass Scratchbud with only Drambo.
Jungle/DnB Time Stamp sample triggers using P-Locks with the Offset set at various positions.
A similar technique for the scratching effects, again using the Flexi-Sampler by recording and editing automation for pitch and speed controls.
In no way am I putting down Amen Break Generator (which I own), or Scratchbud.
Both apps are fun and allow quick productivity, however the method above has it’s own advantages by allowing greater control of sample triggering (at any point in the sample), as well as allowing pitching of any triggered parts for the drums along with probability. The drums were also given a Flanger effect which is switched on and off with a P-Lock.
The scratch effect benefits from some time spent in the automation screen giving full creative control of speed and pitch.
Anyway I hope this mini guide gives you some inspiration and ideas of your own. Tho the example is Jungle/DnB, of course these principles can apply to other forms of sound effects or music genres.
Note: I did this on iPhone, tho I could have chosen my iPad. My point being this is all possible even on iPhone, but you may struggle with the screen size for editing automation points.
The track is not finished and just serves as a demo.
