What’s the minimum I need to know to sell WordPress on Upwork? I know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Sass, Bootstrap, and some React. I was going to learn the MERN Stack because I was told to not bother with Wordpress, but it seems like everyone wants a Wordpress Site. So, is Wordpress, Elementor, and php (I know a little bit) enough to get me started, or do I also need to know SQL (or something similar)?
As per my experience, if you like projects with short time execution than WordPress having such more opportunity.
If you like to develop more complex and long term projects go more in-depth of framework.
React is pretty in demand you should continue with that, and you might like to learn Typescript that will help you future ready Javascript dev.

When you say that the work is perfect but their English is not good or communication skills. I laughed at that point 🤣😂 because it is really happening due to Asian Freelancer's (Pakistan, India) etc...
I spent months learning how to customize woocommerce websites using filters, hooks, and css and now i am told the market is saturated. All i want is to make $4000 to $5000 a month. Do i need to switch and learn shopify now?

Clients deserve better than WP visual builder bloat or envato template sellers. Don't learn the next visual builder of the day ... html and css is here to stay.
Great info! I run an agency where my main service is Facebook/Instagram ads. Do you think it would be a good idea to get a $450 WordPress developer to white-label for me so I can offer a more comprehensive 'marketing' package' and charge more? Or will this be a distraction?
