Every time this video comes across my screen I have to watch it. These guys seating on the back porch playing such a very respected song. Sun shine on a nice day with pine trees as background and the moon can be seen high in the sky. I ask you can it get any better than this. I don’t think so. You guys rock!

It doesn't get any better, brings back the memories of when me and my buddies would get together and play. They're all gone now, waiting my time to join them again, sometimes when I play I still hear them joining in.

I watch this at least a couple times a year to show someone why Georgia is on my bucket list holiday destinations. They'd get on well on the Irish Loop in Newfoundland Canada. This is just like how I grew up...all my 'aunts and uncles' on the deck in the summer (two months of the year in NL)!

This was one of many songs my dad used to jam out on when I was a little girl. When it came up on my station earlier it brought me to tears that had not fallen since his passing over 10 years ago. There's an authenticity here that can't be created elsewhere. These are regular people who aren't professional musicians, and they're making music for other regular people. They're not virtuosos, and they're not flawless, and that's what makes it so good. This was recorded in one take, as it should be. It wasn't "mixed" 100,000 times by "recording engineers" using thousands of rehearsed samples, or any of that other record industry bullshit that makes us believe that everything has to be perfect.

I play a little guitar myself, so I’m always searching for a new sound or inspiration. I still consider myself an ‘amateur’, even after 10 years of playing. But THIS.... this is a perfect one for me. You guys play so well together, and I loved the acoustic solos in there. I live in NC, so I love me some back porch playing. I’d sit all day with you guys & just listen to you jam. Thank you for doing Ronnie’s/Skynyrd’s song justice. He’d be SO satisfied, I’m sure!

He earned it. I don’t know the whole story but it was from high school and had something to do with always wanting two dollars for gas for his Volkswagen. He said everybody wanted rides so he’d charge them $2 for gas. His friends said he was always trying to borrow $2 for gas. I don’t know which to believe.
