It shows that people never listen when you see a few people in the chat thinking that each expansion is $30 even though its literally said everywhere during the direct that they come TOGETHER as one EXPANSION just split into two PARTS.

I really liked it I had no hopes for it and MYSTERY DUNGEON AND SWSH DLC
Same. I thought they'd maybe announce some features of Pokemon Home and Sleep but I didn't expect all of this to happen.
Now my wallet is hiding.

I think they always knew but the console games were just the best time to do DLC.
I mean Red and Blue... it wasn’t possible
Gold Silver... again can’t do it
Ruby and Sapphire... yeah you guessed it
Diamond and Pearl... probably but an enhanced version is easier for them
Black and White again it was probably possible but the sequels were fire so..
X and Y DLC was 100% possible for them but yeah they just didn’t want to go down that route I guess.
Sun and Moon. They could but I don’t think they wanted to waste those DLC resources on handhelds when a full console game was in the works.

16:40 Also, considering a lot of past Legendary Pokémon are already in the code and listed as Foreign (Mewtwo, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma - along with some starters and Mythicals), I bet the rest of these Legendaries will also be part of the Foreign Dex and not in the Crown Tundra Dex. Well, save for the Kanto birds, given their Galarian forms here.

My guess is that the 'Galarian Form Birds' are actually completely different Pokemon. I think it is not Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, but instead their sort-of 'brethren'. I'm only thinking this because I don't think it'd be 'canon' or even make sense if a Pokemon that is the only one of it's species could completely change because of it's environment. If this comes true, I think Game Freak is stepping in the right direction, giving other Legendaries (like the Rejis) more 'brethren'. I hope this doesn't come across as biost (or however u spell that, I'm dumb) but I think this is a really cool idea and please like so Patterrz can see

No holding hands or tutorials or overextended cutscenes. (Teachy TV from FRLG makes a return for that)
Use VS Seeker to get NPC trainers to rebattle and get stronger than ever before.
Contests and Poke star studios return and available in the post game.
New Safari Zone and Friend Safari (4 x 4 grid, FC unlocks all slots regardless of game or closeness).
Main story Pokedex 300, post game additions 200, most of the rest have to be traded for/migrated in.
Alright, this is promising, and honestly with how tied Gamefreak's hands are with the Pokemon company juggling so many things with release dates that can't change, this is probably the best way to do things.
This does not change the fact that Gamefreak should still make changes and evaluate priorities going forward, and they should absolutely still try to expand their workforce, the team could be bigger, and fewer sacrifices would need to be made.
This is a step, but time will tell how well they learned a lesson.

@@madnessarcade7447 That wouldn't really make sense since the Isle of Wight is a small Island off the south of England (so would be above Wyndon in Galar), but the camera panned to the East (which would be the West in the real world and is where the Isle of Mann is).

I think you're onto something; the Isle of Armor could very well be based on Ireland. Ireland does have a lot of boggy area, and some of those oceanside shots kind of remind me of the Cliffs of Moher.
