This is a great video for ONE reason: It is without annoying stupid music! There are so many other great aviation videos out there that get RUINED by noisy music. THIS is how it should be done! By the way: Congratulation to the pilot!

Love how you snook in, during that radio call, “for my first solo.” Not sure if that’s a requirement, but I feel it should be and I did a very similar thing during my first solo. I disguised it as “for your situational awareness.” Also, you know you’re doing excellent when you have the awareness to also remark, while flying first solo, “what a wonderful morning.” All I seem to remember saying, during my first solo, was “remember what Dan said” “remember what Dan said” “remember what Dan said,” . . . right through the entire circuit. Ha! ( Dan by the way is my instructor, in case it’s not already obvious. 😉) Your experience was very similar to my mind. By that I mean I too thought I was gonna be much more nervous than I was. I guess what a person subsequently said to me applies to you too. “You weren’t overly nervous because in reality, you WERE ready for it.” (Even if your thoughts didn’t let that fully sink in) Gorgeous first solo landing.
