Still regarded as one of, if not, THE greatest Sci-Fi Action films of all time.

the very rare case of the sequel blowing the doors off the the original film. they hit a home run then a walk off home run with the bases loaded.

@@whateveritwasitis Well I was only just having a conversation last year about how "movies peaked" and special effects peaked and that in recent times everything just mainly became one massive lazy CGI festival. Look at your list for example . . . the most modern movie on it is almost 25 (twenty five) years old. / It's a difficult question to answer, as you say - it can depend on what you actually count as 'Sci-Fi action' - Star Wars franchise? Does ET count? (haha). Perhaps Inception (2010) would make it on there as the most modern movie . . or perhaps interstellar (2014)? Maybe we will have to do a top 5 for each decade, haha.

These were all from the T2 Extreme Edition dvd as mini segments that popped up as icons for u to click on as u watched the film as normal. This uploader basically strung them all together into one big long "clip". The little problem is that in most of these segments, the last few secs abruptly get cutoff.

The actor who played young John Conner did a very great job. He didn't deserve the treatment he got growing up after T2. T2 is the best one ever. T1 started it off. T2 was the best.

The storyboards for the opening of Sarah's nuclear nightmare is interesting. The Terminator as a "guide", bringing Sarah to the park and standing there with her as the bomb goes off and the blast kills everyone. It's very much like "the ghost of Christmas future" in concept. I can understand why this was cut out, since in real life, having Arnold standing there would've made it harder for audiences to accept Arnold's Terminator as the hero when Sarah still sees him as the enemy, but I think the juxtaposition would've been a very noble concept. Even if it would've confused me when I first saw this movie when I was a kid, lol.

Yeah, I loved seeing the Centurion in Resistance. It made a great enemy and it also reminded me how much concept art had been created for the opening of T2.
I still dream that one day, we get to see a Terminator movie that fully takes place in the future war with the look and feel that we saw it in T1 and T2, and using as much as possible of the unused concept art made for T2. Resistance is for now, the closest thing we got to that.

If the nuke scene had been in t3 with all that destruction rather than a far away shot, it would have been done the same way since cgi in 2002-2003 was too primitive to pull of the destruction simulation required. I thought terminator genisys had a pretty effective nuke sequence, though that was 12 years after t3 lol

@9:00 "You can't go to a library". He's right, you cant. But you can ask ChatGTP.
if you're doing a motorcycle shot with Arnold Schwarzenegger on a Harley Davidson, being towed by an insert car, how fast can Arnold go safely?
"When filming a motorcycle shot with Arnold Schwarzenegger on a Harley Davidson being towed by an insert car, safety is of utmost importance. The speed at which Arnold can safely go depends on various factors, including the road conditions, the expertise of the stunt coordinator and driver, and the level of control they have over the towing vehicle.
Typically, when shooting such scenes, speeds are kept relatively low to ensure safety. The speed would likely be controlled and monitored closely by the stunt coordinator and production team to prevent accidents or injuries.
Exact speeds can vary depending on the specific requirements of the scene, but typically speeds might range from 10 to 30 miles per hour (16 to 48 kilometers per hour) for such a shot to ensure both safety and control over the filming process."
