I.grabbed Chuck Billy's boot at a small venue show in 1991 and he screamed the lyrics of Sins Of Omission at me and I was forever changed. At 20 years old, it was fuckin epic!
Took my nephew to see them in Houston when he was around 12. One of his favorite bands back then. It was a great concert and the other bands on the bill were Motorhead, Heaven and Hell, and Judas Priest.
Testament: Electric Crown As the Seasons Grey Return to Serenity Henchmen Ride More Than Meets The Eye Afterlife Rise Up Disciples of the Watch Musical Death (A Dirge) (instrumental) Into the Pit Over the Wall Alone in the Dark Night of the Witch Nightmare (Coming Back to You) These guys have a ton of bangers you can’t go wrong
Yeah i remember getting into this album in 1989 i think. At the time everyone knew the “big 4” thrash bands were: Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer snd Anthrax (probably in that order, commercially anyway). Testament were just off the Top 4 and for a while it seemed they might break through but it never quite happened for them for whatever reason.
Ive seen testament 20 times! You are right about so many of your assesments of this group. Chuck has lots of charisma, and is super nice. Ive met him briefly and man hes huge too!! And alex is the beat theres is hands down. You should react to "over the wall" or "hail mary" next
Thank you for supporting Alex. He doesn't get mentioned nearly enough when people discuss metal players. I would rank only the late Jeff Hanneman above him, by a SHRED.
Testament put their first album out in 1987, so you are looking at 35 years not 15-25 years. They are currently touring with Exodus and Death Angel. Others to do of theirs Over the Wall, First Strike is Deadly, Alone in the Dark, Eerie Inhabitants, The New Order, Trial by Fire, Disciples of the Watch, The Preacher, The Ballad, Souls of Black, Malpractice, The Legacy, The Ritual, As the Seasons Grey, Agony, Return to Serenity, Low, Hail Mary, Trail of Tears, P.C., Chasing Fear.
most bands in their old years do strange and sorry, but in genral terms, worse and empty stuff compared to the fresh days. it's normal. but testament keeps the lvl in a very good place. i think you did true american hate, which is modern sound. stronghold is a song no one did on all youtube. a pure delivery of power and one of the craziest solos i ever heard
This Band has never dissapointed in their whole career.Always 100 % and still one of the Best Mosh Pits ever in my Life!...so next please do a little TOXIC WALZ with EXODUS !.....hahaha,in the right corner above the old Logo of our German Music TV Channel "VIVA"
I grew up with this music. Absolutely love it! It got written off because it was loud and hard. The skill level required to play like that is insane. Suggestion: listen to “The 7th Day of July 1777” on King Diamond’s album: Abigail
Started 1983 under name legacy changed name to testament 2nd album whole catalog excellent try in to the pit native blood electric crown anything of brotherhood of the snake album most recent Titans of creation got a 98% approval rating never seen any other album in metal do that was heaviest most brutal to date
@@chuckjohnson5235 Greg is in Trauma now...Cliff Burtons old band. Yeah there are some issues for sure, but generally speaking, its all love in The Bay
Chuck Billy gave me my first beer at an Oakland house party in 1984 lol.

Good list. Perilous Nation and Sins of Omission are the biggest things you left out. Apocalyptic City is also fire.
Guau Great Song 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🔥🔥🔥🔥
I saw them at Sundance 8n Bayshore NY. The drummer was only16

Testament was always heavier than Metallica. They just came out too late to claim the crown.
Love me some Testament!
Testament -Disciples of the watch
I honastly dont understand why people love Metllica so much when you got this?
Yea testament!!!! 😅
If you want live, watch something from The Dark Roots of Thrash. Incredible stuff.
testament was close, to become one with the big 4... but it's not a pie.
SO PRACTISE THIS THRASH PIE INSTEAD!!!!!
I'm suggesting Death Angel-Voracious Souls
Listen to Testaments friends Living Sacrifice
Souls of Black!
She's beautiful
damn chuck was so young
You should REALLY check out Powermad - Plastic Town
Nice dreams

Buddy ripped some lines
Greg (Bass Player) is my close friend, he is not in the band anymore
They did him kinda dirty man. Imo, only one bass player is better than Greg Christian. Steve Harris.

Listen to sins of omission by testament
This video is from 1989.... High School Memories here in México!!
