That old man might actually be one of the most badass characters in this series. Two robots are attempting to kill each other with military grade weaponry, everyone else is running and diving for cover, he just stands his ground and yells at them to behave.

I remember being so pumped up about this movie being made and then being released on June 20, 1990, the very same day I left on a US Navy Westpac tour. When I finally got to seen the movie on my ship's site tv, I was so disappointed at how bad the movie was. Now, 30+ years after that emotional rollercoaster, I find a fan edit that brings back to those highs. Thank you, good sir.

I love how at the end of this movie, Faxx is all bubbly and goofy, and she is about to end up in prison forever in a prison cell with the door welded shut. They probally strapped her down and put a mask on her too.
@@eduardomagana3858she wasn't corrupt she was competitive and cared for OCP and that old man was in love her. She thought because other RoboCop 2 candidates failed and she foolishly thought a drug addicted criminal would be controllable.
It's a very old form of comedy. It over-exaggerates Cain's arsenal while drawing attention to the fact he is heavily armed to a rather ridiculous degree. Again, how you've managed to avoid this particular form of comedy for so long is nothing short of an accomplishment. You really should be proud.

Actually this makes more sense than the ED-209 scene from the first movie, as they've used Cain-bot as an assassin droid agaisnt the former nuke cult and the city officials...so they probably keep him armed in case they need to use him again.
I oddly like this, only because it juxtaposes a somewhat light hearted, cartoonish voice/personality into a sadistic killing machine. Humor similar to that of Conker or Clayfighter....
I didn't believe it was possible but you somehow managed to salvage this complete trainwreck of a movie and not only made it watchable, but enjoyable. Well done sir!!
I’m curious to know what became of the actress who plays Juliette Faxler in this movie. Like so many others she seems like she should’ve gone on to big things after this but maybe she’s known to US audiences from appearances in daytime telly or TV Movies over in the US?
