Good Morning. Excellent review. I had never heard of this application. However... I've used the ACURITE indoor-Outdoor similar weather temp gauges for years. Work great. They are about $10 at Walmart. I have one stationed in my bathroom, so I can see what the indoor-outdoor temperature is when I first arise in the morning and another one over my kitchen sink. - Here in the great Southern USA Plains two things are important to a handyman. 1) the outdoor temperature (it can be very volatile daily from highs to lows) and the wind's direction (The wind directions tells us the day's weather and likely temperature pattern). - During the day, the wind's direction and the sun's position, tell us where and what direction, to park our rigs, given a choice. I try to park facing away from the sun and with a cross breeze through my cab windows. My rig can be an oven after parking at a job site with the sun baking the interior (usually about 122F+ in the summer time.) - Lastly, I have an Acurite indoor-outdoor monitor in my truck the "indoor" is inside of my cab,"the "outdoor" is under my rig. In the winter-time, even a one degree change in outdoor temperature from 33F to 32F can mean coming slick bridges and overpasses. Wintertime is often our rainy season. Ice bothers us much more than our light to non-existent snows. -

Thank you so much for your video!!!. How long last the batteries, especially for the one in the freezer? I normally use Good alkaline batteries, like Duracell. I am wondering if The batteries will work perfectly in the freezer. I just had a problem with my freezer in my basement, everything inside got damaged (Beef and chicken) because stop working.
I use nicad rechargable eneloops and I get 2-3 months between needing to change them. I like it but I don’t love it. I have started looking for a better option recently. I now have three freezers and I would like to have something I can monitor from my phone with better battery life and better range but haven’t found it yet.

Yeah I stopped incorporating them into my reviews early on when I started seeing how low their “adjusted rating” was on some of the Dewalt stuff. Definitely something not right with it.
