If there is a power outage… doesn’t the wifi go down? Are there any sensors that are Bluetooth? Or even just magnetic that sit on freezer? Cause if WiFi goes out they don’t work?
Good morning! Im doing articles for Transport Company and your Channel is good. ✨✨ It's quite hard to make such freeze accessory. Sorry! Wish good luck, and have a good evening!! Respect from RU.
Nice setup. I have to say though, I went through the video twice trying to find what model you used - not even a close up of the box. It would be helpful to have stated it in the video and put it in the description with a link if possible - I've spent 30 mins on AMZ trying to find your setup to no avail. That's not a criticism, just an observation. That notwithstanding, would you mind sharing equipment information?
I apologize...you're the second person who's asked this week. I think I edited the close up/part numbers from the final video. No excuses, I just plain overlooked it. I'll add them to the video description. Thanks for watching, part numbers are below... Inkbird IBS-M1 WiFi Gateway Inkbird Thermometer and Hygrometer Smart Sensor IBS-TH1
Sorry, been busy lately. You can use the pucks as standalone, but they are limited by the range of their Bluetooth radios. If the freezer is in your kitchen/house, I would say go for it. If it's isolated "far away" in your garage, a shed, etc. the Bluetooth might not reach your phone and you might miss an alarm. Hope that helps!
Hi Jimmie! The monitor components are all InkBird and I bought them on Amazon. I'm not sure what you meant by pulk... if I didn't answer your question, please let me know.
Thanks...yes, the important thing is that you monitor them one way or another. People don't often think of the contents of their freezer(s) as an investment until something happens and they lose everything inside.

Those rayovac batteries are not good in freesers. You should try lithium energiser batteries

Do you have to have gateway or can you use the pucks as a stand alone?

Great video. I use Govee temp/humidity wifi sensors in my fridges and freezer. No hub needed like some sensors. Long lasting on aaa batteries.

How long do they last?
The govee says it’s limited to -4 F. Does that become a problem because lots of freezers go lower than - 4 F??
Just seems like all these are wifi… the hurricane victims lost power. So no wifi…. Just looking for something that just maybe even works stand alone
