@@jaimerodriguez6406 I’m planning on doing a “whats done to my ZL1” type of video soon. Haven’t raced around much since Covid hit us, but most of the Mustangs I find on the street don’t want it lol. I’m just trying to have fun man!
@@MrLSX lol...I don't get many that want to tangle....they usually duck for the nearest exit... I know this thread is older but I like the content of your channel....
You never explained why you did this? Does that lubricant breakdown often? Does Amsoil or Royal Purple make a better oil? If ACDelco was already in it why did you go with that again? I'm not questioning your judgment, only collecting data to help make my own decisions.
Changed the fluid due to the differential whining (common in ZL1s). From what I understood, this liquid was an “update” to the original liquid used back in 2013. Works like a charm.
@@MrLSX I have the 2015. Same whining. I'm just thinking it's warming up. So I go easy until no whine. But I was thinking of maybe going with an aftermarket oil by Amsoil or an equivalent. 👍.
personally, I change out the fluids when I first get the car home just so I know they are good. Any rearend fluid of the correct weight should be fine and follow the interval suggested for changes. We have a '13 vert with 3.23 gears and no whine ....knock on wood... it does maybe suggest the gears are worn or not set properly.
Merci j’ai zl1 2012 en France 👌👍
Do more vids on the zl1
I’m going to start making more. What would you like to see?
What mods you’ve done to the zl1, races, cruising around looking for mustangs lmao

Additionally I'm aware of the whining that the differential does perhaps that's why you're changing the lubricant
