Ja'hidah Starr Turner I don’t really know. The problem with Latoya is that she had no stage presence like Michael or Janet. Latoya also really needed to learn to dance like Janet so she could compete with the likes of Madonna. But for what ever reason she just couldn’t get her act together and sadly she got left behind. By 1986 Janet Jackson firmly established herself as crossover superstar in her own right !! How could Latoya compete with that as well being 10 years older than Janet Jackson. I really think Latoya would have made a great actress she would have been great on tv or the movies !! Sadly her manager Jack Gordon and later on her husband sexually exploited & abused poor Latoya for millions of dollars. After Latoya’s failed pop career he reinvented her as a high class celebrity prostitute. Sadly her brand of entertainment was soft porn & talking badly about her family to the public !!! Latoya became a hate figure of sorts in the early 90’s. Latoya Jackson was the first prototype for a reality star !! She is famous for being famous.
