Honestly, I discovered you 3 weeks ago. I was trying to job applications since May 2023. I got rejected and never heard back from the recruiter by email either. Past 3 weeks, I got almost 12 phone call interviews and 5 face-to-face interviews. Thank you so much for being helpful. I will subscribe to your website and candidate packages when I get a job.
This will become the new standard for many people who wouldn’t have needed to hire a pro photographer for headshots, but I don’t think anyone will be fooled that it’s AI. Let’s face it, every middle-class rank and file worker does not need a professional series of corporate headshots. There will still be a niche for the higher end headshots by the pros and for the pros - and the real photographers will find ways to set their creative works apart from the AI stuff.
I did this after watching your video. I needed professional photos but don't have the money to drop $200+ right now for only two outfit changes. Some were hilariously terrible. But i actually got five nice ones that I will use. And i tested them out by sending to family and they couldnt tell it was AI. Thank you lots!
The obvious advantage of AI generated images is, they CANT be used for facial recognition, since the image deviates a bit from your actual face structure. There are even some GAN scripts that improve this effect.
Heck, if it works, might be worth it to pay for 1 month, then cancel. Take your time to make headshots in various styles. Maybe make a set for a friend or family member too.
why does LinkedIn exist? Shouldn't ppl be judged by their experience and not their appearance? This makes it much easier for employers to pick the "right" candidate, the one that looks like themselves.

A.I. struggles with glasses, so I'd like to see how it does with those of us who wear them. I don't (and never will) wear contacts, so it will have to be able to render my glasses in different angles.
@@velocityvibes8497 For me, I don't like the idea of reaching in my eye to put contacts on or pull them off. Some of them you can sleep in, but if not and you do sleep in them, your eyes are going to look horrible the next day. Also, I have one eye that trails off because it's extremely weak and doesn't help me to see beyond the use of peripheral vision. I'm not certain if contacts would keep up with that eye or if the constant trailing would make it fall out. Speaking of which...contacts falling out doesn't sound like a fun thing to worry about, lol. And lastly, the cost. I buy my glasses online where it's cheaper, but my strong prescription still means I pay about $100+ for my glasses, depending on the frames I want. However, these glasses are then good for a year or two, maybe more if my prescription hasn't changed. Contacts I believe are good for about six months and I would spend double what I do in a year to have them.
@@freakfreak786 and @velocityvibes8497 Since both of your comments are similar, I'll just answer them together, lol. I lrefer glasses because I find them easier to handle. While you can sleep in some contacts, you still have to deal with taking them in and out most days and I don't like sticking anything near my eyes (never really cared for wearing makeup but I struggle especially with trying eyeliner because of this). I also have the fortune of working from home, so I take naps on my lunch break. I like being able to just slip my glasses off at lunch and slide them back on with no fuss when I get up. I also have one eye that is much weaker than the other. It trails off into the corner when not actively in use (which, despite both eyes being open, it's usually only working for my peripheral vision). I would be concerned for contacts on this eye, given it spends most of the time just resting in the corner, lol. I wouldn't want the contact to slip out or cause discomfort. Speaking of bad vision, contacts can be pricier than even glasses. Whereas glasses can last me two years for about $100, you usually have to spend about $60 and get about 3-6 months. I would have exceeded the cost of my glasses in one year. And lastly, I like how I look with glasses. While I could do with less comments about supposedly being more intelligent just because I wear glasses (these uave become fewer, thankfully, in adulthood than when I was younger), I do like the sort of intellectual look glasses provide. I just got into cat-eye glasses, frames that are upturned a little in the corners, like a cat's. I love my current pair, which also have this sort of tiger pattern around them. This all said, I do know a few reasons that have made me at the very least wonder about contacts. Headphones would be easier to handle. I like playing my PlayStation with the aux cable connected to the controller, but the b headphones can cause the ears of my glasses to press into the bridge of my nose or my ears. And I wouldn't have to worry about things like cleaning contacts as much. If it rains, I don't need to pause when I get in and out of the car and a few drops splash on my face (I have to wipe water lff of my glasses). I can blind the water away with contacts. I suppose one could also say that contacts offer less risk of something breaking, but I've not broken a pair of glasses since my childhood, so that's not really a concern for me. Ultimately, I just prefer glasses over contacts.
Same. Nearly all of them didn’t look like me or it looked fake. While a lot of them made me look great, and like 20 years younger, it would definitely be like a catfish situation if I used these professionally. 😆
