Nostalgic.
She’s got a beautiful voice! Wow!
The whole package is not exactly hard on the EYE LOL
@@marvinmartin4692 thank you so much!
Amazing stuff!
Plenty of style. Plenty of swing ! What’s not to like .?! 😆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
If I was in y’all’s shoes, I’d be searching for one man’s attention. The great Ray Benson (frontman of Asleep At The Wheel) is THE man who holds the keys to Western swing. He knows everybody and has all the connections and the music you play is so dear to his heart that I’d be willing to bet he would be an invaluable friend. He’s not just the current king of swing, he’s one of the fathers of the entire Texas music scene. He hosts a tv program with the same name where he displays artists and tells their stories.
I am a young man who sees this music that I grew up on dying with the generations that birthed it. You guys took me back to driving to the deer lease with my great grandfather to go hunt in west Texas. Hearing Bob Wills and Asleep At The Wheel and Red Steagall. You guys brought me to tears. Because for a moment I was back with him again. God bless y’all! Good luck and love from Texas!
Terrific band with a stellar playlist! They have done their homework!
Once again, I'm blown away by Mary Lee's delightful stage presence! I'll start there because I also have to rave about her vocals, as well as her and Ceasar's Cowboys' terrific musicianship. Indeed, you all swing!!!
Yes Mary Lee's stage presence is captivating. Not just nice looking, I too like her unique vocals, her terrific violin playing, and the way she moves to the music. And then there's her 500 watt smile. Plus the Cowboys are awesome too! They are bound to hit it big, maybe after touring the US.
Wowww, I've got a fever and Mary Lee is the cure. Can't get enough Texas Swing!!!
Thanks for the big helping of Western Swing!
Wonderful! I love Cindy Walker but I had not heard this tune before. Great rendition!
Getting a lot of Spade Cooley with that violin! I dig the more classical sound and feel of that violin! Great job!
@@davisjacobs5748 That is a very nice compliment, thank you very much!
What a great band... the sound, the look, fantastic vocals by Mary Lee. It takes me back to another time and place when life was simple. Been producing music for almost 50 years and UA-cam has given me so much pleasure when I discover talent like yours. Bravo!
@@cguzelli1 thank you very much, it is so nice to hear from a producer with such a long experience!
I second all said above. Also, the video work is outstanding. Well planned lighting, make up and fantastic editing to blend in shots of the other performers really make this video work. Kudos to those behind the scene.
Western swing was my major musical obsession before finding ragtime. I have no explanation for its appeal; it was not part of my family's musical heritage. I once had a complete collection of records by Bill Boyd and his Cowboy Ramblers going back to 1935. I also had extensive selections by Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys, the Light Crust Doughboys, Milton Brown and his Musical Brownies, W. Lee O'Daniel and his Hillbilly Boys, and numerous others. As a teenager I traveled to Dallas where I met Bill's brother, guitarist Jim Boyd. Years later I got to know John "Knocky" Parker, pianist with the Doughboys and college professor. It's great to hear such a competent performance and to know that the style is still thriving, if among a limited fan base.
Check out Lew London's album called "Swing time in Springtime". Lew plays guitar, mandolin, dobro and is a great vocalist & writer. Very cool stuff! He recorded on Philo but can be found on u tube.
Again; Bravo! Thanks for this sweet new release. Sounds and looks like 1949; you and your band have nailed it again. Enjoyed from the US.
Thank you Dan! So much appreciated!
She's a real pepper pot!
Miss Mary Lee, you've got some very fine, old style talent.
Love it, beautiful song and group!
Thank you @guitarjamie !
I’m tickled pink listening to this
@@alexdog911 thank you!
Wow, what a finish - that high falsetto note of Mary's at the end was ACE!! Great violin and steel guitar too.
Flavio has a great ear! Whole band sounds great!
Where can I purchase your albums? I could listen to this all day, every day!
Mary Lee & Cindy Walker make me tickled pink!

There is no way that this is not Camilla Belle singing country under an alias.
For some reason, when the camera shifted to the singer picking up her violin to play, I half-heard Bob Wills announcing her name.
Excellent!
@@daledurham7353 thank you very much!
BRAVO!!! Love it!!!
More true to the region than contemporary major label Texan musicians. This music is amazing.
