If I was in y’all’s shoes, I’d be searching for one man’s attention. The great Ray Benson (frontman of Asleep At The Wheel) is THE man who holds the keys to Western swing. He knows everybody and has all the connections and the music you play is so dear to his heart that I’d be willing to bet he would be an invaluable friend. He’s not just the current king of swing, he’s one of the fathers of the entire Texas music scene. He hosts a tv program with the same name where he displays artists and tells their stories. I am a young man who sees this music that I grew up on dying with the generations that birthed it. You guys took me back to driving to the deer lease with my great grandfather to go hunt in west Texas. Hearing Bob Wills and Asleep At The Wheel and Red Steagall. You guys brought me to tears. Because for a moment I was back with him again. God bless y’all! Good luck and love from Texas!
