There needs to be a national Federal registry for cops that are forced to resign or are fired. No corrupt/criminal cops should be able to get another job as a police officer or even a security guard!

    • @stacieransom5677

Exactly. I mean I get there's a process but why paid leave and why are they giving him the chance to resign himself? Why isn't he fired immediately? I would understand if it was just people accusing him of things but they have actual evidence. That alone should be enough to fire AND arrest him. Why is he still being paid?! Makes no sense.

I agree! I worked in Law Enforcement for over 18+ years ( in Florida). I know all about the "good ole boy" system. I had to deal with it for so many years. Seen Officers and Command staff get away with so much...seen corruption first hand. The "good ole boy" system came after me for years. I received death threats, one Command Supervisor attempted to plant evidence in my Detectives vehicle. They covered up numerous small crimes some Officers had committed. The list can go on and on..I wont name the Agency or names, but I know exactly what your talking about.

He probably had disciplinary issues at the sheriffs dept, resigned before being fired and went back to bartow pd.
