I love how Fizz made up such an amazing song on the spot about actual BS. Leave it to Alex Brightman. It's so great to see Blitzø and Fizz patch things up. And I have to say, Fizz and Ozzie are just adorable together. Almost as much as Moxie and Millie. This was definitely the best episode so far.

Fizzarolli is Blitz's childhood friend. I'm guessing that maybe Blitz's dad or Mammon (the sin of Greed) lied to keep them apart so they could capitalize on Fizz's talents without Blitz holding him back. In the flashback Blitz was holding what looked like a love letter, so he was probably going to admit his feelings and then chickened out while accidentally causing the fire. Also, to answer the question, Stolas is my favorite character. I love that horny owl daddy.
Look at the video at 15:44 and pause it right as fizz starts moving off of blitz they are both blushing a little bit
It looks like someone had given Fizz a fancier card then Blitz could even hope to give causing Blitz to having a emotional fit that caused the whole disaster.
To top it all off Blitz said he still hates himself over it. This also explains why he has twisted relationships, he doesn't believe people genuinely love him because he has no love for himself.
I thought it was a birthday card that he was going to give him but ended up not doing it cause someone already gave him a better one or and I’m theorizing: Fizz got some invitation to be a more famous jester for Mammon and would have to leave blitz behind in order to do so and maybe fizz accepted the offer right before blitz was about to come in the tent hence him running away
@@justinmitchell4192 the card that fizz got was from blitzøs dad and it said ‘i wish you were my son’ and that would’ve made blitzø upset, making him turn back, the card he was holding wouldn’t of been a birthday card because there was a flower, it had a heart on it, and it said ‘for fizzes eyes only’ which makes it pretty obvious that it’s a love letter

It wouldn’t surprise me if the reason they didn’t show blitz in the recording was so Stolas didn’t have any way to find Fizz, and annihalate the people who would dare hurt what’s his.
Not saying Crimson thought this through, but rather the writers left him out so Stolas wouldn’t be an ex machine like in
Episode 6: Truth Seekers
I do not think that would be the case for a few reasons.
First, there was no way for Crimson to know that Stolas would be there in the first place. That was a coincidence.
Second, Ozzie is actually a lot stronger than Stollas so I wouldn't think that the reaction would had been that. If anything, I think that things would had been played out the same. Stollas although very powerful in his own way, he is not really a violent demon, as we have seen plenty of times he is not someone used to violence or at least not in exercising it himself.
@@ReingnusYes Ozzie is stronger then Stolas but every demon has different abilities and I think Stolas has the ability to track Blitzo, which Ozzie apparently can’t.
So I agree with the initial commentator.
@@julchensweet2538 And you really think that Stolas would bargue in to a demon´s den? I just don´t see that happening, specially since as we´ve seen, he is really powerful, but he doesn´t know how to use his own powers to real degrees, because he never actually had the need to do so.
Stolas is a lot stronger and more powerful, but Milly is way more dangerous, do you feel me in what I am saying? I do see someone like her attacking head first the whole enemy camp, but Stolas probably wouldn´t act that way.
He just did that in chapter 6 of the first season, cause he sees humans as beneath demons, not because he is particularly sure that he would do well in rescuing them.
Just take chapter 2 of the season 2, and we see how bad was his help to Blitz when he was being ganged up, or how his first reaction to Striker was to run away instead of just looking at his way and turning him into stone before he could even get out the lazo.
@@Reingnus I didn’t think Stolas would have went on his own, of course Ozzie would have joined him in rescuing their loved ones.
I think they didnt show him was because they had no real reason to when they were just after money and other stuff blitz compared to fizz is lowkey a nobody in their eyes 🤷
I have a new theory that Striker was a rodeo clown. It’d explain his unique skill set and why he is so good at escaping injury. I also like how they basically confirmed Asmodeus created Fizzorolli’s prosthetics
The one thing I've noticed in all of these reactions is everyone missing the card and flower Blitz had before throwing them down and storming out. He was getting ready to confess his feelings to Fizz, but seeing everyone else love him caused Blitz to start seething with jealousy and, well, you know what happens next.
Arier (I think that's how it's spelled) noticed them.
Blitz's breakdown, the emotion his VA put into that whole scene gave me chills and him yelling, "I did care! It was an accident, it was!". The emotion in his voice got me something fierce. It was so good! This whole episode was great.

So, for you two (and anyone else who needs it), based on context clues visually and audibly, I personally believe the best way to piece this together currently is:
Blitzø did not hate Fizz by any means, but did grow jealous of him getting all the love and attention he could only dream of. Being so close to Fizz as practically his brother, he ended up developing feelings for Fizz. On the night of his birthday, he went to go give Fizz flowers and a letter confessing these feelings, but, upon seeing his dad there next to him and the card he gave Fizz, got upset and stormed off, accidentally causing the fire. Blitzø, being overloaded by everything happening and seeing Fizz in the state he was in, decided to run off to get help, but never made it that far as he instead detoured to go to his mother when he heard her screaming and saw her tent on fire.
After the fire, Cash Buckso, Blitzø's dad, whether he found out Blitzø caused the fire or not, used it as the opportunity to finally cut ties with his "loser" of a son and keep control over his moneymaker, preventing them from making contact and, judging by Fizz thinking the fire was on purpose, probably gaslit Fizz into believing Blitzø did it entirely on purpose.
The saddest part about this is that their reunion is a bittersweet thing. Blitzø finally got one of his closest people back in his life, but this caused Fizz to allow Stolas to get the Asmodeus Crystal for Blitzø, which means Stolas can use it like he wanted as his opportunity to finally break away from Blitzø, believing that he doesn't love him back.
I take it you got that last part from Airier, since he mentioned that almost verbatim. Either way, I don't think Stolas wants to break ties with Blitzø, simply remove the contractual nature of their relationship, and give Blitzø a chance to choose to be with Stolas without the grimoire hanging over his head.
If Blitzø does love Stolas back, then he does not want their relationship to be contractual. If Blitzø does not love Stolas back, then he does not want to force a relationship with him.

@@kaeranova luckily we got the music video "Just Look My Way" that proves Stolas is not trying to leave Blitzø like that. He is just wanting to make sure if Blitzø DOES love him back then they can date for real without the book/sex deal hanging over Blitzø's head. Its not quite as "stolas has given up" as some people seemed to think.
@@brigade7678 I think the whole "stolas giving up" thing comes from the final scene in western energy with the flower petals. It mirrors the old "He loves me. He loves me not." game people play with them, and the last petal falls on "He loves me not." Though it's also an even amount of petals that fall, being 4 total, so I always thought of that scene as a 50/50 of stolas and blitz getting together or not.
We just doubled the amount of healthy relationships in this show, from 1 to 2🎉

Well there is a bit of an unhealthy amount of possessiveness Ozzy has over Fiz but it doesn’t seem too extreme. Perhaps he could loosen up a bit

Also forgot to add, its so cool that not only we saw a pet in a wheelchair, but also Fizz not only is a disabled Imp with prosthetics, he doesn't look upset about being so, he says hes broken but his life is going well. Add too it we saw his prosthetics break down, which is not common to see. Very inclusionary.
Fun fact, not only is that white on in the wheelchair the leader of the pack, but she's Fizz's favorite according to Vivziepop. Her name's Precious 🥰

It's amazing to think Blitz was not born with his white spots, that they're actually burn scars
It seems like white spots on imps are either scars or birthmarks. Like Moxxie’s freckles, which we also saw on his mom. There’s a poster in either Blitzø’s office or the meeting room that was for Blitzø and Barbie’s act that shows him without any of the white marks. We also see decorative white marks on Barbie’s body that may be something like a tattoo; they also cover the circus’ symbol on her forehead.

I think this is a really really important part of Blitzø's character that not everyone catches!! Blitzø is illiterate from growing up in the circus with no education.
Its why he feels so insecure with Moxxie who is so verbose & cerebral based. Its why he gets confused when Stolas uses "fancy rich people talk". Its why he misspells EVERYTHING everywhere- on his safe it says "Do Nut Steel" and many many examples. Its why Blitzø uses speech to text often, or types short misspelled words, or only emojis!
Spelling and grammar and texting are a challenge for him, and its part of why his texts with Stolas look like hes being flippant.... hes illiterate. So him texting Stolas in the hospital "Git Bevver Swoon :(" was actually a lot from him. I think its also why he always has Loona read the spell book (he can't) and its why he draws little horses literally everywhere, he draws instead of writing often. Its also why kid Blitzø was NOT interested in Stolas' books... they're basically meaningless to him back then especially, and hes clearly a hyper kid that has no experience sitting and reading lol.
I'm sure its been said plenty times but Blitzø had his first crush/love on Fizz and nearly killed him when trying to confess his love. The note has very clean handwritten "For Fizz's Eyes Only" with a heart- because the handwriting doesn't look like Blitzø's, and because he still wears his dead mother's necklace daily, its theorized his mom helped him write the note....))
Talk about reasons NOT to open up and think someone could love you! I think Stolas being hospitalized was hard for Blitzø, feeling like he wasn't there for him, like he wasn't able to help Fizz or see him in the hospital, and is feeling very guilty. I think thats the main reason he didn't text back again, guilt and fear.
I think Blitzø reconnecting with Fizz and seeing Fizz with Ozzie is supposed to help build him up enough to at least believe Stolas likes him. He may still panic or think the crystal is Stolas pushing him away, I hope not ^^;;
About the miscommunication that happens, I believe it is because the hospital is located in the Sloth Ring. If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that the employees working there are bad at the job since they are really lazy, and don't give a damn, so they probably didn't even bother to relay one single message since it would have been to much work 😅
Yes, the sloth ring is where all the hospitals are and where drugs come from. In the circus episode you can see on Stolas' happy pills bottle it says Belphegor on the label. Bee also mentioned wanting to break into Belphagor's stash of party drugs.
Tho the way they mentioned the miscommunication between Blitzø and Fizz, it felt a bit too deliberate/important to just be due to the incompetent workers
I freaking love this episode! So many hidden details I had to pause so much lol. Several fun things to point out. Despite Ozzie being the embodiment of Lust, he is all about consent. We finally got more background story for Fizz and Blitz, as well as evidence someone tried to not let the two get back together, seeing as both were lied to. I am pretty sure Blitz lost his Mom in the fire. They connected so many details in this episode. It felt almost finale-ish. Also Ozzie shows so much care and attention to Fizz, such a good partner. And yeah like Nikki pointed out, Blitz finally was vulnerable enough to try to heal his relationship with Fizz! I think the "make-out" joke at the end was Blitz in his self-sabotaging way ruining a moment, but I think Fizz saw thru it. After Barbie rejected Blitz I am actually really happy something worked out. I would love to see Loona and Octavia again next episode. But I am grateful for this episode. Also I adore how your pets were climbing all over you guys this episode. So cute!
This was a fantastic episode and I was so hyped that Blitzø got a win. He really needed that.

I just stumbled across your channel like two days ago and omg i absolutely love you guy’s commentary it’s so funny!! Also as someone from the south (specifically the Bible Belt) but was raised by Northern parents, it is EXTREMELY jarring to hear such THICCK syrupy southern accents without feeling like I’m about to be condemned to hell for all of my sins but also at the same time watching a show like Helluva Boss. I just find it so fun and unique and I love you guys energy so I’m definitely subscribing!!!

Cash sold Blitz to the Goethas for a play date only after confirming it was not Fizz that Paimon was asking for… because Fizz was the better performer and made more money. After Blitz was responsible for the accident that maimed Fizz it may have been him who kept Blitz away for killing his show. Aside from that, this may also be the reason Blitz and Barb are not on speaking terms.
On the falling in love part; I am certain Blitz had unrequited feelings for Fizz that never got to admit (the letter with a heart on it was one thing but the flower) I think he still has some of those feelings, but as shitty as Blitz can be I don’t think he’d go out of his way to ruin what Fizz has with Ozzie.

Now we need an episode explaining the backstory between Asmodeus and Fizeralli

Yep, it was most likely because they hadn’t had a proper conversation in 15 years and still hated eachother so it would’ve been awkward being pushed into each other

I’m really starting to wonder if Fizzarolli’s cybernetic arms and legs are a deliberate reference to Doom. I mean really think about it... a demon with cybernetic implants. What does that remind you of? What is the first video game that really comes to mind in such a scenario? By that point, sooner or later, one can’t help but inevitably think of the Doom first person shooter franchise whenever you see something like that in pop-culture nowadays because it’s pretty much the definitive video game series that really iconically popularized the concept in fiction of depicting demons with cybernetic enhancements.

I just hope that they can focus more on fixing blitz and stolas' relationship now that they have addressed the trauma behind blitz pushing stolas away. his hate for his self might require him to reconcile with everyone from his past. I really hope they don't take that approach but it may be healthier in the end for blitz. Also I know Ozzie, and fizz are super cute together and all, but fuck them for all that hypocritically bullcrap that they gave stolas, and blitz, and also moxie and millie at Ozzies.
I mean it ain't like the main cast are good either so . Plus moxxie sand the wrong song
honestly? i think the BlitzxStolas thing is kind of the main plot when it comes to relationship in this shows, so that drama will probably be milked for as long as it can be and only be completly fixed (one way or another ) at probably the very end of the series, that means it will be in the final season and we dont know if there even is a fixed number of seasons planed so far.
Soooo looking at it from this meta perspective....i think i am okay with waiting longer before this mess is fixed cause it would mean more helluva boss, if mya theory proves correct. xD

since we know barbie didn't die it had to be blitz and barbies mom, blitz also ran away to get help from who is anybody's guess but my head canon is since he had very little friends he probably would have ran to stolis, which the guards would have turned him away at the door.

buckso [barbie and blitz's dad, who probably hates blitz]

I'm only 2:00 into the video, so maybe this episode shines some light on it, but I'd like to point out that I think you're misinterpreting Blitzø's motives with his treatment of Stolas. It's not that he doesn't want Stolas's affection -- there's no "ew, go away" reaction at all -- it's that he doesn't *believe* those feelings are genuine. When you hate yourself, it's hard to believe anyone else can love you. So he tries to make connections with other people, but when they try to connect with him, he assumes they must have some ulterior motive. It's, unfortunately, a mindset I can relate to...
After watching the whole video... yeah, Blitzø's dad (whose name, by the way, is Cash Buckzo -- no really, it is) was awful and hated him, and loved Fizzarolli more. I'm convinced he's the one who told Blitzø to stay away and kept them apart.
