Turtles need to absorb UV through their shells in order to get vitamins. They will slowly unalive if you paint their shells. If you have a pet turtle or catch one in the wild please don't do this if you see this video and think it's cute. It can also poison their lungs

    • @Gabriel.-_-.

Was just about to say something similar, but it also stops the shells from growing and the turtles get deformed shells and die

Yeah when I saw it at first I was like oh cool those look really life like (thinking they were little robo-fish or something) but them being live is a bummer. The paint is horrible for the turtles and between that and being constantly "fished" theyve gotta be incredibly stressed for their shortened life spans.

Chinese car manufacturing is one of the best. Living in Guangzhou China I don't drive. I use the DIDI service which is the same as Uber or Lyft. And I would say that 90% of the cars for the service are electric. On the road you're going to see right now about 50% electric carbs. There are charging stations everywhere. The cars that are being looked at in this video are also on the road. Sometimes if you get a driving service and you select a higher price the vehicle it's going to be one of these nature ones. These cars that are used for the service are owned by the person driving. So normally if a person is driving a very expensive car. They're not doing driving service because most likely they have a very high paying job. There are a lot of Tesla cars here. But I've been in a Tesla and I'm not impressed. Chinese car brands have totally advanced past American brands. The technology is incredible. And like he mentioned that these cars cannot be sold in America not that they're not illegal, but the certain president, put such large tariffs on all imports. It doesn't make sense to bring those cars in.

This is a weird cyberpunk America circa 1949. The same level of working class elevation with less protection for workers rights. Maybe this bubble will burst at some point but likely not because of short sided corporate greed. Offshoring American manufacturing has created the Chinese economy as we know it. Look at what China has done for their lower middle class ( by western standards) and tell me it hasn't benefited the people. However, the environmental impacts and sustainability of any of this is a falsehood at best. I respect the age old culture but can't help but wonder what this means for the US. Say what you will I really don’t care, but from industries as far and as vast as brewing, heavy equipment, automotive, technology I know from first hand sources that western companies are doing everything they can to prevent additional ip theft. I know it's probably your pure-blooded American love for the consumerist wet dream, but like surely there are more interesting things to look at than markets and malls?? As someone from Europe, you have some of the most amazing natural parks, history and culture in China and you go to these places full of LED's, animal cruelty, designer fashion crap and it just feels tasteless to me. Seeing how it is rocketing ahead technologically was really interesting and seeing all the ways kids can learn hobbies and skills was a great insight into their society though.
