Lord John has done so much for the Frazers, he is so selfless.
Yeah he is 💯
Is it just me or was anyone waiting for the "Mark Me" from BPC and then groan when he said it? 😂
Yeah, especially since they showed in the recap how the last time he said it was at Culloden...
And drink 🥃
It was crazyyyy, he couldn't stop saying it
I love Lord John❤️
Malva is a very scary character.
I love how Malva is a morally gray character. I didn't know what to think of her at first, but I'm starting to like her. I just hope she doesn't turn out like that time traveler chick in the first few seasons who was totally off her rocker.
David Berry is a feast for the eyes.
I know, right? Man, he's ridiculously handsome.
And in IRL, that Australian accent of his...😍
Interesting episode. The plots moved forward quite a bit. I particularly enjoyed the Stephen Bonnet reference. Oh my.
'Knowing the future can be a privilege and a curse at the same time'
Jamie being a grand pierre once again is exciting! Grab the whisky Sassenach 😍
The Stephen Bonnet reference tho 🤣
I love the whole Mason references, especially the handshake.
Things are getting tense
I’ll be front and center at midnight!
A landmark episode, the next one will be epic😍👍
I can't wait for the next episode tbh !!!! , i'm really excited !!!! .
The highest award Excellent history and excellent entertainment by most professional artists that are new to the screen in any and all shows ever seen absolutely fantastic most enjoyable down to earth as it happens thank you ever so much JB
This season has been hard but fantastic! It brings home the personal conflict that was created by the politics of the day. As like today, it divides families and friends.
I love the historical aspects of this show and how much research and real details are used. Thank you Diana, Ron, Matt, and Maril. The series wouldn't be the series w/o it.
I'm not that far into the books, so I wait on baited breath on Saturday night 11:58 and structure my night so I never miss it.
I watch it 2-3x, including live too make sure I caught everything. There's so much layered in that a rewatch is a must.
I've got by Outlander posse following suit. The feedback is amazing.
Malva is summed up in 2 words: sneaky bitch. Enjoying her though. Can't wait to see it unfold.
Please continue to season 8; so much material for us to use as leftovers. I think it's a sentiment of a lot of people.
Grammar police: ...to make...
Mr. Harnett's reasoning for meeting Jamie is almost the same reason given for meeting another famous TV Jamie: Jaime Lannister in season 6 x 7 of "Game of Thrones" is told "I wanted to see you in person, get the measure of you' by The Blackfish when he meets him on the bridge during the siege of Riverrun. Mr. Harnett's reply of "Bold" after Jamie asks "And how do you find me?" is much more cordial than The Blackfish's acid reply -when Jaime Lannister smugly states "Well now you have" - "Aye! Now I have...I'm disappointed." LOL
As the story progresses closer to the war, am I the only one thinking that we need the cast of Hamilton to make guest cameos?
And break into song with the cast of Outlander!
I'll give it to outlander, they didn't try to diversify the cast and stayed true to the source material.
Mmhm, and it's not wokity woke woke, so that's awesome to me.
Netflix ..la suite svp ...OUTLANDER .....MERCIIIII ..
Puff the magic dragon.
I can't wait to find out who the person from the future is at the end of the episode!
I thought it was the native American that was with the browns who realized Claire was a traveler as well. He was supposed to help free Claire.
Its the Native American
@Becky Jackson he did looked familiar and yeah it's Donner the wendigo.
I wonder about that as well.
@@beckyjackson7755 Bonjour de France 😉
Oui, je pense que vous avez raison, c'est mon avis aussi. 👍🙂🇲🇫
Who was that that Malva was with with Roger walked in on them?
Who is the thief that appears in the end?
Interesting that they ignored the elephant in the room from the very end of this episode.
The whistling stranger, who’s not a stranger if you read the books?
@@EpoRose1 Precisely! Except they introduced him last season, which I'd forgotten until I saw it mentioned in a recap of the episode.
Who is the whistler?
@@NoirRose21 Guess you'll have to watch episode 6 cause I don't do spoilers for non-readers.
@@NoirRose21 Someone introduced in the last episode of S5. I'll leave it at that.
Già da questo episodio si capisce che le strade di jemy e lord ghon si dividono anche x colpa di claire nella stagione 7 ne vedremo delle belle @
I would love to ask Diana Gabaldon or Sam Heughan if Jamie would have still joined the rebels if he didn’t already know the outcome.
He wouldn't have. He even told Claire in the episode that he would have stayed loyal to the crown, if not for what Claire, Bree and Roger told him would happen.
Is that in the books, too? I’ve read them all, but it’s a lot to remember!
No, in the books he never spells it out directly, but he does say "once a rebel always a rebel". His native inclination is to outlawry. His primary complaint to the government is the outright shameless abuses of the supposed tax collectors and nobody giving a damn to straighten it out. He had a ten year clearance on taxes and he's just waiting for that to expire and a tax collector to come to the ridge. 😈 In the book he starts out mildly in favor of the Americans if only because it's Brianna's country but it gets stronger as the war approaches.
I was shocked at the medical marijuana (hemp Flower).
Shocked? You weren't shocked by the use of laudanum (opium), why be shocked by something so simple as "fishing weed" as my grandma called it. (You bruise up the leaves and put it in a pond. Fish will get stoned and rise to the top. You gather up what you want and the rest get over it in a bit and go on with their fishy lives none worse for it.)
@@Blue-rl5dp 🤣😂🤣😂 I didn’t even think about the opium. 😂🤣. You’re exactly right!!!! They were drinking something too, Claire and Flora. Maybe that was just whisky.
@@ladydee6829 Eh, being Scots it's likely whiskey. My pretty little silver flask is filled with blackberry brandy. Mr.Blue bought it for me decades ago. In retaliation I bought him this huge flask that likely holds half a gallon. He does not carry it around with him. Imagine. 😜
Can anyone confirm this I saw on a reddit post someone said that they confirmed the new time traveler is an older William, and that jamie and claire and the rest of the family dont die jan14th 1776 in a fire at the ridge they they actually fake their death and time hop to a distant future & thats what the spinoff outlander series will be in our time? Is this true ? Or even in the books forgive me I've never read them ?
It’s not real. Sorry.
This reddit post you read is 100% fake news. I read the books, but even without that, there is no reason at all to think William is a time traveller. Neither Jamie.
Jamie cannot travel! Diana was firm about that. That does not mean William can't, we don't know about his mother's DNA. But they don't die in the fire on that date because there is no fire on that date. Nope, that story is a red herring. No future William.
Is nobody gonna mention Bonnet's bollocks??
Truth to tell, Bonnet's bollocks have been little on my mind over the years. 🤣
In the books Bree shot him in one testicle. It got infected and had to be removed. Bonnet kept it in a jar of alcohol. He may have escaped capture if he hadn't taken the time to fetch it. Apparently it was "important" to him. 😜 After he was executed it ended up in the collection of the doctor who lived in Willham's Creek who liked to keep medical "oddities" where Claire saw it, not Jamie.
@@Blue-rl5dp i haven't read the books yet and I found the scene where Jamie noticed them extremely funny 😂 although it is weird that they had them in a jar because what you mention from the books wasn't in the series and it makes you question how someone managed to get their hands on them 😳
Estoy muy decepcionada con esta temporada, la magia entre Claire y Jamie es inexistente, el embarazo de Catriona es muy evidente, que pena...
Theories as to the whistler in the jail
It’s Murtagh who faked his death to continue fighting and jointing the early Americans for the American Revolution against the redcoats.
It’s a time traveller (I’m guessing cuz of the song he whistles)
It’s Bonnet or Black Jack… or someone who knows them?
Your second option is the correct one. Murtagh died in Jamie’s arms and the other two died in front of us, too.
@@mkfd4571 they made Bonnet out to be dead in season 5 until the second episode. And Black Jack until he showed up in France in S2.
It is the time traveler who did not help Claire when she was tied to a tree and violated by Lionel Brown and his men.
@@maryprice607 oh. I missed a few bits of the show and the latest season.
I got the impression it was Bonnet, but I could be wrong. Book readers, help us out.
