Just found your channel. The quality of your work is amazing, everything's clear and mentioned. It's sure you'll reach all the pedal community, so just keep makin' the videos. Thanks and good luck
I bought this and compared it side by side with the Strymon Cloudburst. While the Cetus sounded good, it just doesn't have the depth that the Strymon has (even without the Ensemble mode). My copy of the pedal also inserted a lot of noise into the stream, to an unacceptable degree. Just my two cents for those considering it. It's a good pedal on a budget, and I do appreciate that it has several different types of reverb, compared to one on the Cloudburst. If you get a copy without the noise issue, you will probably really like it 🙂
Hey mate! Alabs is really good on aftermarket and customer assistance. Maybe try to get in touch with them and they can replace your product for free! Thanks a lot for sharing your considerations!! For sure it is not as good as a Strymon! It is a nice side by side test! Thanks a lot!
Can anyone who's used this pedal vouch for its audio fidelity? I've used reverbs of all price ranges and I've found that the budget friendly verbs and delays are often lacking. The Boss RV-6 and DD-8 have the best cost to fidelity I've found so far. I got the ALABS Timeslip on sale for about half the cost of a new DD-8 recently. The sound quality in the same ballpark and the digital processing is on par too. I want to add another stereo reverb to my board because the HX Stomp has lacks options and the ones on-board take a lot of DSP.
It is crazy good! Alabs is still an underrated brand... but soon I believe it will explode! It is easily comparable with Walrus Audio quality! Cheers mate!
@@RiffsRigs that's very good to hear. I have the Ambient reverb from WAs budget Fundamentals line and it sounds great but it's mono and has only 3 modes. I'm always looking for verbs and delays that equal the Boss pedals' quality. I was impressed with the ALABS algorithms and it should fit in well with my post-rock, ambient and shoegaze board. Thanks for the response.
Yes... I didn't try it! i believe it will not drip so organically, as it is digital! 60 Cycle Hum tested this pedal and I am SURE he tested if it drips!!! 🎛️🔥

Really another great option from Alabs! 👏👏
damn, now I want this one (and I already own 3 reverbs)
Top demais!!
Valeu demais man!!!
But, does the spring reverb drip, you know, for surf music?
Yes... I didn't try it! i believe it will not drip so organically, as it is digital! 60 Cycle Hum tested this pedal and I am SURE he tested if it drips!!! 🎛️🔥
Looks to me like a good value for the price!
Esse canal é extremamente profissional
Really cool for the price...but its missing that drippy spring tank that not many verbs have.
60CycleHum doesn't approve it! 😂 It's true mate! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigsHell, I dont use it on my Ventris but maybe twice a year but I still gotta have it lol
