There is this narrative that women are beginning to accept;an idea that was originally driven by men. Men who have failed in being providers,failed in businesses, failed in their jobs, in being fathers in being leaders who no longer work hard enough to be adequate in the society. How come women are beginning to accept and even promote the idea that it is okay for a man to not be the breadwinner to not completely provide for the home, the idea that financial responsibility for the family is to be shared but women are silent on men sharing responsibilities of raising children, doing house chores and running a home.What this narrative does is to produce women who are super breadwinners. Super women who do everything. They become so strong and so responsible because they have shouldered both motherhood and fatherhood alone. Strong black women who finally become masculine because the man is allowed to be inadequate.
A lot of Nigerian Men and Women are feminist nowadays that is way. Especially our generation. We have ignore our Traditional values in the name of modernity.

It shouldn't even be about how much should a man earn before marriage. It's the woman that wants the marriage so the woman's father should be the one paying for his daughter's wedding and help his son in law with employment or start a business...very true or definitely correct?

I think it'd be in your best interest to already have a home, not rent oo, but your own home before engaging in marriage anything
