I’ve had -50 turn to -70 (c) because of windchill.
That’s cap, - 40c = -40f , doesn’t even get that cold in Alaska
@@hyperguy3970 nah _that's_ cap, -70C may be a slight exaggeration but lots of northern Canada can get to be -50C (I even remember reading about northern Yukon hitting record cold at like -60 C a couple years ago) and windchill can make it feel like around 10C colder than the temperature actually technically is
Edit: ya just looked it up (wanted to make sure I wasn't remembering wrong haha) -60°C ( -76°F) was record-breaking-cold in Yukon in 2016
@@hyperguy3970there are a lot of places that get below -40f. Montana, ND, Minnesota, etc. I know because I've been in there cold temperatures. Manitoba is even colder. And Alaska definitely gets below -40. I had a friend from Fairbanks. On the ocean, it may not get as cold but there's a lot to Alaska outside of Anchorage

“Cooking’ with gas” 👍🏼 great memories of my dad saying it at least once a week.
That was one of the most successful ad campaigns to come out of the natural gas companies starting int he 1940's to push people into replacing electric ranges with gas stoves.

It was 25 degrees Fahrenheit (I also live in the Midwest) outside and I wore a north face sweatshirt and t-shirt and felt fine

It's expected and honestly usually better than dealing with them sober. One beer just gets people relaxed.
We are a state full of alcoholics. We have a bunch of breweries, alcohol is a staple at any gathering. A beer is like drinking a can of soda. As long as you don’t open carry while driving.

no lie...I once went in one..sat down on some cases and started playing a game on my phone..forgot where I was at for a min til someone walked in on me..I damn near yelled out "someone's in here" then..oh shit I gotta go..got my beer and left...my cuz was passed out in the truck waiting on me with his phone laying on his fat ass stomach..good times.

I work at a kwiktrip and the food there is actually pretty good. I don’t eat the chicken though because when I first started they had me frying chicken and the smell of it makes me sick so at least I don’t have to fry chicken anymore.

I live in northern Michigan! It’s been voted most beautiful place in the country many times. We have the sleeping bear dunes, can’t go 5 miles in any direction without hitting a lake, and of course we’ve got the Great Lakes! If you really want a unique experience mackinaw island is super cool! I’ve lived in Michigan my whole life and still get goose bumps everytime I step foot on the island!

If you have kids, Wisconsin dells for sure. Otherwise upper Michigan for the beauty. Chicago for the museums but don't shop there. Taxes are too high

Just remember that you are legally allowed to consume the products before purchase so long as you pay for it afterwards. It's looked down on but not illegal.
That is false. It's the stores product until you pay. It is 100% theft, but 99% of the time as long as you pay it's cool. I work at one of these spas.
@Ex Up I've stood in line eating a bbq pork sandwich sipping on my mt.dew Never heard a word about it. It may help that I'm a daily customer at one of these spa's.
@@JSAFIXIT Haha, yes, regulars get a lot more leniency than other people. I have had regulars accidentally leave without paying for their coffee. Then the next day they come and say they forgot. No big deal. And again 99% of the time nobody will say anything. If someone was having a bad day though they could. Just Kwik trip cares more about having guest appreciation over accusations.
I just want people to know what Yosiah said is false. You are not "legally" allowed to consume the product before purchasing. At the same time, Kwik trip will not stop someone from stealing until they leave the store before paying because it avoids falsely accusing somebody of stealing. It's very hard to tell if someone is stealing when they are still in the store. Again, I have been a full time employee at one of these spas for almost 3 years.
Also, Kwik trip most likely paid charlie behrens to do this. It's literally a promotion for his beverage in the fresh blends machine.
