Damn Denzel just getting cooler and cooler.
He ain’t wrong. One of the Top three actors in history and he ain’t done yet. Respect. I see Mel there too he’s in the three as well.
He's good. But he's not on the level Olivier, O'toole or Day-Lewis.
Perspective is a powerful thing, and always refreshing.
Dang Denzel says some real truth here and you know some people at that table can’t relate and have no idea what real work is .
I so appreciate Denzel for his dignified voice in this screwed up reality. He keeps it all in check, with grace, gratitude & humility.
Denzel is the man, successful and humble! Respect ✊🏿
Denzel... Preach!
Denzel Washington sitting between Oliver Stone and Mel Gibson makes you realize who is the clean and sober one of the threesome.
Denzel is not a snowflake…I never had him Pegged as one but hearing him be thankful for the luxurious life a film career has afforded him is refreshing.
Moments before he was saying how he doesn’t have a passion project because he doesn’t like how difficult it is to make a movie
Now I even like him more what a legend.
One of realest person alive right now, hands down.
Denzel is fantastic!
I love his thinking/thought process!!!
Oliver Stone is like “finally someone is saying it” haha
The cutaway to Oliver Stone is intriguing. Denzel is talking about how moviemaking can't compare to fighting in war (Iraq) and getting shot in the face--coming across a bit jingoistic. Stone fought in Vietnam before he became a filmmaker and he made films about the horrors and trauma of war. He is very much anti-war, esp. the Iraq War. I wonder what he was thinking about Denzel's comments.
Not jingoistic. He's just saying it's hard. War is hard isn't a very controversial statement.
@@oncewasblind4292 my point is that Denzel didn't serve, but Stone did. So it's interesting hearing that coming from him and wondering if Stone would agree with that morality behind the sentiment.
"Get outta here" was CLASSIC Denzel
One day I hope to be even 1/10 as cool as Denzel
😂😂😂😂 Mel got that who invited Denzel look😂
I literally laugh out loud when I read this. 😄
😆🤣
DENZEL IS A FUCKIMG KING..!! 🤴💯❤🇺🇲
Hands down awesome. Inspiring.
The rest of em looked like “oh, I didn’t know he felt that way. Movies are my life!” Not to Mr. Washington. I like what he’s saying. It’s not a big deal. Denzel will sustain for many more years to come cuz he doesn’t trip on what he does for a living. He’s blessed and talented.
I'm surprise they didn't play the "Wrap it Box". They do this whenever one goes against their status quo.
Denzel speaking the truth 👏💯 hats off to him.
Denzel Washington is a legendary actor , the man commands respect with his words. More power to you sir.
Nothing but love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
"My Man!!" Always liked Denzel Washington :).
It’s just a movie, it ain’t that big a deal. Bravo to that but it’s also an incredibly massive form of money spending. The amount of expenses that go into a movie can solve a lot of problems instead of just helping us forget about them for a few hours.
Denzel is easily one of the realest actors out there. What a legend. Gonna go watch American Gangster right now.
I respect Denzel sooo much!
0:48 get outta here😂😂😂😂
How humble & realistic can one be!!!!!!!!😀
I've always been a fan of MR. WASHINTON, his honesty is so wonderful to hear!!!!! Such an HONEST MAN......SO RARE THESE DAYS!
Washington is just the type of positive black role model we need. The old school man.
Not the types we are getting today who are perpetual victims.
This man is a treasure!
Denzel man… he’s just got it all on point
Denzel is one of the few actors I respect because he's real. He doesn't put out any preachy self righteous bs like most of those in Hollywood today.
"Don't get it twisted" Love this actor, one of the greatest ever
denzel Washington the man dropping truth bombs with coolest attitude ever
Thanks for putting the full conversation in the description instead of just the clip!
Denzel is the MAN.
Stone winces when Denzel says making a movie is a luxury.
Yeah, Stone's head went straight back to Vietnam when Denzel started talking about people's sons being shot in the face.
Wince? He turns his head. Dude was in the Vietnam war. He knows exactly what Denzel’s talking about.
🤩huge man crush on Denzel. Classy, clever, polite. And love his movies.
Happy birthday denzel from italian boy live in rome
Damm just got so much love for Denzel after what he just said, humble and don't let that fame shit get to him
"Your son got shot in the face". Savage.
Talk about a humble moment
Damn, he really said that in front of those snobs!
It's telling stories and entertaining people but at the end of the day there are things that are more important.
Not only is he a Great Artist, He is Beautiful And above all he has Brains.
They all wish they would have said that..
Absotively awesomeness. Wonderful sharing. Thank you so much
Damn Denzel stop dropping the science God 🤣😂🤣😂
He's 100% right.
The discomfort in the room as he said this 😂
Denzel has a very balanced view i like that very humble guy
So glad someone said it
What he said was nonsense. If we didn’t have art then we wouldn’t be people. This is why some try and turn sport into art. Some people are hell bent on life being meaningless and just about competition.
Well my opinion of Denzel Washington, while never low, just shot up 1000%
Denzel is definitely THE MAN
Hands down probably in my top 5 best actors
RELAX! ITS JUST A MOVIE!
sounds like me with my gf while watching movies lol
One of my favorite actors in Hollywood
“My man”
