I heard Zack taking the gears a little bit there when he went to unload that load of corn just want to let him know that next model newer that truck the gears are made of rubber 😂
Jim has a great sense of humor! With drought, wind and general challenges you guys have a solid positive attitude with everything that is coming at you.
To be honest, Zach, I really enjoy watching your videos. Lately I don't have a lot of humor and smile, but your movies really make my day better. Wish you all the best from Poland 🇺🇸 🇵🇱, keep it between the rows.
Things are a little tough in the USA right now too. Poland fought the communist in the late 80's , I remember well , but I fear the communist have infested the government , media and educational system so much that it's just a matter of time and they will take down the USA.
We did three gen's on our farm until 1977 took my uneducated but brilliant grandfather Home. "We don't know what we have til it's gone...." but the memories remain.
In previous video you asked about DEF hand messing up. I haul DEF and use in my semi...after filling the semi I shack the handle upside down to get any DEF out and help from Crystallization in handle.
I can definitely sympathize with your Dad. I had both knees done along with both hips by the time I was 45 (I'm 48 now) and although the hips weren't bad at all (easy, really) but the knees weren't much fun at all. I've had my right knee don't long enough that it's nearly worn out needing to be revised but I'm holding off as long as possible. I certainly wish him well. Stay safe out there.
Nice video always like to watch harvesting videos and planting videos, I'm just amazed of the size of the new equipment and how everything runs compared to the 1980s when I farmed with my uncle in South Dakota.
a really great video. Really like harvest time. We can sit with y'all in the cab and get to see how things work. Thank you so much for making my night.
Norm, I noticed that too, however we should give Zach some slack because in these uncertain times, it's hard to get good actors to come to Minnesota for work.
The ability to make a silk purse out of a sows ear is what a good farmer does every day An exceptional farmer/ business man has other farmers wondering how he or she does it. Keep it between the rows Zack 👍
That narrow row header seems to be working pretty well actually. I've never heard of doing it crosswise with a narrow header. Good for you! Glad you're getting a lot of that corn, if not all of it.
I'm pleasantly surprised how well your harvest is going. I wasn't expecting it to go this well. Considering the circumstances. Thank all of you over at the Millennial Farmers place for such great video content.
Not bad at all for down corn. Looks like your yield is doing fair. Hope it stays high for you guys. Need bigger and brighter taillights on Dads combine so you don't run up his tailpipes. 😁 Take care.
Happy to see your down mostly going through the header. 5 years ago, we had a late season tornado. Corn snapped at the crown. Would not stand up and pull through. It just pushed up and sat on the snoots. Tried it several directions. Ended up using the bean header. Lots of material went through, but corn came out the top. Good luck with the rest.
Zach, you have workers that are irreplaceable. I hope you know how blessed you truly are. My father and uncle only had 105 acres to farm but my father was working at full time job at Ford motor company too. Now the land is leased out and someone else farms it to cover the taxes on the farm. Dad is going to chemo and taking it easy now.❤️
Looks like it's going a lot better than I ever expected it would. Glad to hear you're getting some good weather especially seeing as how this harvest may take a little longer
You weren’t the only lucky one today Zach! Started combining beans today, and found a penny stuck in a pair of gloves when I went to clean off chaff from the machine. I showed Dad and asked if he felt lucky today. Long story short, we stopped a fire before it even started in our machine. I’m keeping that penny on the seat of the combine for the rest of harvest. Felt pretty thankful today.
So the moooiistuure numbers are good. 😁 I’m not a farmer, but watching your channel for a number of years now really helps me appreciate what all of you go through… Kinda wish farming was in our family… so hope your Dad’s knees are continuing to improve with each passing day. Great seeing the team working together… Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Big fan of the Chanel. Just found out a local farmer in my area ( peace county British Columbia) slipped off his grain dryer and broke his neck….(sounds like he will paralyzed) be safe around the farm and when climbing bins and the dryer. Keep it between the rows.
Great to see you gathering the harvest in so well Nate, but take it easy with those knees my man, I know its hard to sit on the side lines and watch sometimes but Zach and the gang can cope if you want a rest at any time OK.

Unbelievable....love your attitdue....reminds me of 1983 harvesting sweet corn in SE Wisconsin after buckets of rain...the poor machine did the best it good and it worked but took more patience than I thought I had. Glad to see you're through the worst of it as of this week.
Just watched on UK television the first driverless combine harvester carrying out a harvest, it included grain being dumped into a driverless tractor and trailer.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable My best to you and your dad. You are doing great in this downed corn. Just takes a little more time to get the job done. Really good video today of the complete harvest operation. Appreciate that. You do great on the videos even when super busy. Thanks. You dad is really getting around good even with his recent knee surgery. Way to go dad!!!!!! First mud this year in the field. Seems the tractor and grain cart did alright. Your dryer seems to be doing good with just a few breakdowns. Good going. About it for now. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks all. First of all Thank you Becky for the hard work you editing these videos for us to enjoy. How is the yield is it as bad as you were thinking it was going to be?
7:39 hey mate love your vids. Just a quick fix if you wanted to know they make magnetic 2 way holders so you don’t have to try putting the hand piece back into the annoying holder while your watching the road. Cheers mate.
Fought downed corn like that with a friend at his farm in the Sacred Heart, MN area several years back. Just a 6 row head on a 9410 Deere with the stalks down sideways. When he was there to help, he had me just barely creeping ahead inching along while he was using a rake like a pitchfork to try to keep that mess off the head by pushing it along when it would build up. When he wasn't there, I got one heck of an up and down the ladder workout just like Zach. That SUCKS! The old farmer with a rake thing was NOT a safe move by any means and although by some miracle that never turned into a dismemberment or fatality of a human, it did eventually end up a dismembered rake when he finally lost his grip on it and the Deere ate it too fast to prevent. Not much distance between the feeder house and the outer row on a rows head-- those stalks and a rake feed in mighty fast. At that point he FINALLY decided to quit that silliness and I was a much happier combine driver. just fighting sideways corn WITHOUT having to worry about trying not to eat an old farmer or his rake.
I hope you're just hauling all the corn to the farm . 1400 bushel loads are a little overweight . DOT needed to make a surprise visit . lol Have a great harvest. .
“I only grind the gears infront of the people that hire me”🤣🤣 ain’t that the truth!!

Oh i reckon that's "earned duty" !!
Nothing like a little mud no the tracks and your Dad is cool 😎 need to see more of him 🙂 y'all are amazing God bless y'all from South Carolina viewer.
