Lone Echo I and II are games that I think really show what VR gaming can be capable of. It's a shame that the games are Rift store exclusives, because between locking it out of both standalone and steamvr markets I think a lot of people didn't/don't get the chance to experience them
Ever since my Rift S died and I got the Quest 3, the software feels much, MUCH worse! It's not just the graphics, it's the Oculus/Meta home that's been downgraded, it's the fact that I can't use passthrough while using Link (when you're inside the boundary and want to stay within Link), the Rift home has been completely removed, and for some reason, even though the Oculus PC app supports hand tracking data, there's no hand tracking support in the dash. Meta really needs to take Link more seriously because I believe that there are many users, like me - who barely use the Quest as a standalone device.
That’s the one thing that’s wrong with it and the most important component it ruined the psvr2 but it was on sale for 350 on their website which it worth it at that price imo
@@bighen2162 2200* if your gonna buy a pc or maybe 2600 for an index and pc also around 2200 to use a quest 3 and a pc sorry i don't get your point the psvr is directed to people that already own a ps5 and now can be directed to people that already own a pc, your comparison is like saying oh i don't want to get a pcvr headset cause i need a pc to go with it so they suck, like ofcourse a psvr is gonna cost more to use if you dont already own some of the hardware its not standalone. and while standalone headsets are cool i find they aren't as good because the hardware limitations but you don't see me going around saying oH mAh GaWd ThE qUesT 3 sUcKs caUsE iTs tOoOOO wEaK.

@@Optamizm I've ha mine almost 6 months. I'm sure part of it is a slow roll to see if people find unexpected problems, but After a week or 3 you'd think they would speed up if that's the case.

If you're looking to do some PSVR as well, then PSVR gives you more options. Ask of right now, Quest 3 works a bit better with a PC, but it's possible further updates will close that gap.
Updated to V69, boundaries were all messed, I had to clear all and reset boundaries. Also, tracking of right controller with deadeye VR club attachment is not working making the game unplayable.
I have one question. Is there an option to turn off the multiple windows like with V68? I'm elderly and retired, no need for all these windows. I just find more than one window open at one time annoying. Don't get me wrong, if I was 30 years younger I may think it was a cool idea and I'd like it to stay for you all but some of us just like one window at a time and think there should be an option to enable or disable. It's no longer in experimental.
I went ahead and bought a PSVR2 and adaptor for PCVR and it came today and it's night and day difference to my quest 3. So no more blurry skyrim and no mans sky or microsoft flight simulator. You can make it better with tweaks. But nowhere near as good as the PSVR 2 is. So now my quest 3 is a standalone beast at VR and my PSVR2 is a PCVR beast. Good combination. Just a tad bit expensive lol
For people who have mid tear AMD GPUs the PS VR2 isn't the best option with 120hz being the only refresh rate you can pick the headset supports both 90 and 120 but not for AMD users
I used to say the E-sports were sports. I don't believe it anymore. If a corporation have the power to instantly ruin a game, it can't be considered an sport. The NBA decides basketball specific regulations, but if they mess up badly enough, other bodies could replace them. In tge case of E-sports, it is mostly illegal to create replacement servers. Sports belong to the people. E-sports belong to souless corporations. They will never be real sports unless some open source game, or at least open server game is created. I don't think E-sports are real sports anymore. What a thing they did. They created a model to hoard the only thing that takes us apart from other animals, sharing ideas, and monetized it so people can hoard and oftentimes never use their ideas. If someone developed a cure for cancer, patented it and never produced it, humanity would suffer from cancer for 30 years untill the patent expired. This EXACT thing happenade with 3d printers. Imagine were would we be if 3d printer were introduced 30 years ago. A patent troll blocked humanities progress in an entire new mode of production. The world should incentivize people who create something new. But blocking everyone's elses improvements on it is not a good path. Maybe make the creator not pay taxes in profits of the product. That way they could profit without limiting free market. Also, the government would earn more than enough taxes on the competitiors.

Does it also affect Meta Remote Desktop and Immersed, or only Virtual Desktop? I don’t have a VR capable PC so I don’t need to use Virtual Desktop.
Meta killed Echo VR and after that killed the studio. That's why monopolies are bad kids.

v69 broke my mic passed through using airlink and PC link with the cable. Forced to use virtual desktop, which I'd rather use a cable if I could.
