Gender Identity, Political Parties, and Party Loyalty

The panel was about Gender, Identity, and Politics across South Asian regions. Gender Equity, Equality, Sensitization, Transgender, Empowerment, and Enthusiasm were the focus of discussion and the speaker and the panelist tried to emphasize the intersectionality among these as how then, Politics of Identity plays a role within any kind of governmental setup.
The event was hosted by the Asia and Oceania Student Research Committee in the International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS). This SRC is founded as a critical and academic space to delve into the intricate web of gender and identity, spotlighting the multifaceted construction, enactment, and navigation of gendered identities within a myriad of societal, economic, cultural, regional, religious, and political settings in personal, social and civil domains.
