Man, I saw the way the neck on this figure was and thought "YIKES", but I knew you would make it right, lol. Excellent work, great review, and thank you for the shoutout!
The sculpt looks GREAT for the scale. It does resemble the Hot Toys version but shrunken down. I got the Yamaguchi version cause I wanted a more animated look but this one looks great. I did have it on PO a while back but it was taking forever and thought Nota would cancel production so I was able to transfer my deposit to another fig. Glad it wasn't cancelled. Looks great. Congrats on the purchase. Thanks for vid!
Hi,I recently got the fabric version of this as i didn't want it to peel.I'm glad i did,i've been following Ibrahim also,i forgot about the leather like paint which i might try & find to give him that leather like look, good review 👍🏾
The 1/12 scale is tricky for making figures with fabric clothing. Even Hot Toys, in 1/6 scale, often struggles with getting the stitching points and fabric drape just right. That said, I think this figure loses a lot when compared to the Mafex one, which is all plastic, has better proportions, and won't suffer from the long-term deterioration of faux leather. Anyway, congratulations on the purchase.
Mezco actually does a good job with their soft goods. Nota's other figures in particular their WuKong line...the soft goods on those...chef's kiss. But u buy what u like and think is best for you.
@jakea75 It's kind of either one or the other in this case. You can hold onto the Angelus in case the pleather ever does peel, or peel it off preemptively. Mine was peeled out of the box and required very little effort to peel the rest of the way off, so I recommended just replacing it with angelus from the get-go
@ yeah idk what’s up with mine. I can’t get it to peel whatsoever. And it’s definitely the leather one and not the cloth. Hey thanks for that neck mod. I did the same on mine.
@@khoio7075 Sure--you have to remove the upper ball peg, use a dremel to drill down into the socket, then replace the peg and push it down into the neck
It's done really well. I think your neck mod is nice. ++ paint is excellent + ample accessories + build quality is good, great soft goods. -- likeness is not really good, it feels a cosplayer, I don't think mafex is also perfect. - the height is not good for 1/12 scale, too tall

I ordered the Angela’s black leather paint. Do I need to peel material off first ? Mine doesn’t seem peely or defective at all.
