It doesn’t specify the types/forms that it can absorb and even if it did black panther withstood explosions from Hawkeyes arrows, which were strong enough to blow Loki off course in the first movie, without being blown back so we know it has the capability to absorb all forms of Kinetic energy regardless of the delivery system, example thor’s hammer, bullets, explosives etc... And you can make the argument that black panther had an entire suit on, but we know that mcu is it’s own entity and separate from the comics, but they do get their foundation from the comics and in the comics caps shield is a hybrid. Vibranium and adamantium mix,(the metal for wolverines claws)and it’s stated to be superior to both in its capabilities. So we can only assume that caps shield is to be stronger than the average vibranium, even if not stated. The whole reason I bring all that up is to say we’ve seen vibraniums absorption capabilities work in many ways and forms. Also though we have seen it not work (in this clip, also every time the shield bounces off anything since if it absorbs kinetic energy it should just fall as soon as it hits a wall 😳). But at the end of the day it’s a movie and it’s more theatrical to have cap sent off the bridge so they all don’t jump Bucky and win. This remains my favorite Marvel movie of all time. My then girlfriend and I came into the cinema just expecting your usual superhero movie, and we got treated to an action espionage film. Masterful.
This movie had megastars like Chris Evans,Scarjo and Sam jackson yet Sebastian stan(bucky) stole the show from all of them... He's definitely one of the most menacing MCU villain of all the movies. It is basically my favorite Non-avenger MCU movie along with Ragnarök
after 10 years since the movie was released i gotta say this is PEAK marvel, good sci-fi thriller with good villain, music, decent cinematography and action. i just wish brave new world will be half as good as this one.
i understand that you guys want bucky to be like this, a bit more ruthless. But come on, he was being brainwashed into a killing machine, and was basically taught to have no remorse for the millions of lives he brutally took many times before. I love this bucky as well but i think this one should stay in this phase/era of the mcu and of bucky, as they have shown in tfaws bucky still has it in him but decides not to use it at times because he doesn't want to hurt anyone. I love all the eras of bucky but rightfully so all of them should stay where they are.

Since I don't see anyone commenting on it, the quick shot of Steve and Natasha's reaction to seeing the Winter Soldier standing up is great. Around @0:24 or so. His expression hardens, going into combat mode. Her eyes widen, seeing someone that she'd hoped to never see again, at least not without being behind a sniper rifle from a safe distance. She's not terrified like later, but she's scared enough that she doesn't immediately aim at him Dang this is a good freaking action film
Agree! The fight scenes, the humour, the deep state plot, Robert Redford! Loved it from start to finish and convinced me that Cap was my favourite Avenger.
Natasha does so well in this scene - first saving Caps life at 0:13 but the dive, grapple, then smooth landing at 1:59 is so underrated. Total badass move

Yeah I’m not understanding that either
@@ChickenJoe12 Thor's hammer isn't an explosive but a rocket launcher is
@@avinashallu9777 well it’s stated in the the black panther movie that vibranium absorbs Kinetic energy. Since all put up a decent fight alone together they had the possibility to end the movie, so directors said bye bye cap!!
@@jchez5303 sorry but u r wrong buddy. Black Panther showed the nanites absorbing kinetic energy, not vibranium
2:56 ... The most badass walk I have ever seen in my life 🤯🤯😮😮
It’s a murder strut lol
I appreciate Winter Soldier even more after watching Falcon and WS. He's such a badass in this movie and had such a great character arc since The First Avenger.
One thing I noticed is that at 2:13 you can see how Natasha sets up her headshot on the Winter Soldier, because she is able to see his shadow.
I love how still even when I rewatch this, they did a real good job about trying to hide Bucky. Obviously when the goggles come off at some angles you can tell, but at some it's still kinda mysterious and I love it!!!

This movie is so different than the other's in the mcu it's crazy
I think it's also, for me, that this movie felt like there was some stakes whereas Civil War when they were all joking while they were fighting each other- I knew no one was going to die

The Winter soldier: *Who the hell is Bucky!?*
The falcon and the Winter soldier: *I'm James Bucky Barnes*
He already chose to split personality himself already
The soundtrack of winter soldier is amazing and it gives dark, serial killer, mysterious vibes
Winter soldier when he is the tough final boss to finish: this movie
Winter soldier when he’s a playable character: civil war infinity war and endgame
Winter Soldier was badass in Civil War too
Dude he was super OP in civil war literally only spider-man could stop him physically while iron man couldn’t beat him just blast his arm off
also in infinity war and endgame they were fighting thanos who nobody could defeat until tony sacrificed himself so
When Winter Soldier grabs the steering wheel, it gets me every time without fail. I was really hoping for similar scenes in the new TV show with Bucky using his incredible combat and tactical skills for good. Sadly, none of the fight scenes lived up to it.
Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Natasha literally climbed onto Cap’s lap
She was in a way test driving his D before committing to letting him throw an F down on her
She did it to save both Sam and Steve from the bullets.
to save her life ?

This remains my favorite Marvel movie of all time. My then girlfriend and I came into the cinema just expecting your usual superhero movie, and we got treated to an action espionage film. Masterful.
this Bucky was pure anger and a straight up assassin, and i love it.

This is one of the few marvel movies which actually feel like an action movie.
after 10 years since the movie was released i gotta say this is PEAK marvel, good sci-fi thriller with good villain, music, decent cinematography and action. i just wish brave new world will be half as good as this one.
Bucky will never be as badass as this again.
*Rip*
1:27 Ilike this scene.
This has to be one of the coolest entries of an antagonist ever!
This action sequence will forever be my favorite .. amazing and the winter soldier theme music makes it 10 times better
i understand that you guys want bucky to be like this, a bit more ruthless.
Cobie Smulders / Maria Hill
I love how dangerous Bucky is, dude is a one man Army, and the fact that he was able to take on at least half of the Avengers proves that!!!..
I Love how they calmly hand bucky stuff like, here muh men

2:20 Damn I really need to have those goggles if it's bulletproof
It is bulletproof, otherwise Bucky would be dead
@@itzmespencer Bulletproof against small caliber. Rifle rounds would have gone through?
Since I don't see anyone commenting on it, the quick shot of Steve and Natasha's reaction to seeing the Winter Soldier standing up is great. Around @0:24 or so. His expression hardens, going into combat mode. Her eyes widen, seeing someone that she'd hoped to never see again, at least not without being behind a sniper rifle from a safe distance. She's not terrified like later, but she's scared enough that she doesn't immediately aim at him
Dang this is a good freaking action film
This is the winter soldier I want to see in Falcon and Winter Soldier show
Jasper Sitwell's death was terrifyingly unexpected, but it showed how dangerous and ruthless the Winter Soldier really is.
His death will never not be hilarious to me.
This was the film which changed the direction of the MCU. For the first time, no character was off limits. It really set up twists in future films.
The winter soldier was one of the most menacing and coolest adversary they faced…….and then they started calling him Bucky, and he was gone.
This movie was what got me into Captain America. Winter Soldier is one of the best MCU movies ever.
Natasha with the quick grapple 3d maneuver no look explosion. Goated.
best mcu movie by far, no super power bs and OG action scenes
I think this is actually the best fight scene in the series. It's just a bunch of stunt guys being ganked about and taking falls, but it really shows the strength of a super soilder.
Bucky as the winter solider back then was so cool. Kinda wish he still had as much coldness in him.
just this scene better than Justice League full movie.
It's better than Josstice League, but Zack Snyders Justice League sh*ts all over this movie, mate.

Avenger movies are full of action but this is still by far the best complete movie they did and the soundtrack is MORE than perfect.
One of the best fight choreographed all time..
Nat managed to jump into the front seat to avoid getting shot, pulled Steve forward to save him from a headshot, and pushed Sam out of the way with her leg to dodge a headshot aimed for him too. Absolutely saved all their asses.
1:43 has to be one of the best action sequences of just pure badassery
Still the pinnacle of the MCU. And that’s saying A LOT!
I finally realized that at 2:13, Romanov saw Bucky's shadow over the bridge. That's how she knew where to shoot him.
this is still one of the best mcu films to date
Watching it back, this is when MCU movies didn't all feel the same. They all had different tones, different styles. Now they all feel like they're written to be identical.
Endgame, Spiderverse, Logan and Winter Soldier are my four favorite Marvel films.
