No, theres zero way youtube cares enough to target anybody. They don't see creators, they just see various big and small dollar signs, which they only attempt to identify personally on the rare occasions that either a large channel rallies their fans over a grievance, or the media handwrings over some unsavory behavior. They're the equivalent of Rick when he's mathematically proving his grandkids are pieces of shit: *"...and I honestly can't even tell you apart half the time, because I don't go by height or age, I go by amount of pain in my ass. Which makes you both identical"*

I am happy to hear this! It bothers me ( pisses me off) when my favorite channels deal with this bs. They have literal concerns they ignore * cough cough* pedophiles but go after the channels that have the most unique, artistic, interesting content ( obsolete oddities had issues- not shadowbanning) are targets-- it took all of us sub's to coalesce to make sure his channel was safe! Glad to hear all is better.

Some videos getting "shadow-banned" (that term only applies when it's intentional, not a side-effect of ineptitude) hasn't been the only problem since UA-cam made a bunch of changes in the past several weeks. Some have been intentional problems (like being forced to use the feckless new-style playlist interface), but their unnecessary and unwanted changes have broken a lot of things around UA-cam. As usual, Google making changes for change's sake and ruining stuff. 😒

I’ve got a video about the Thalidomide Scandal that’s also disappeared off of search results despite having excellent metrics.. it’s really disheartening when you spend hours making a great video only for UA-cam to shadowban - at least you’ve got a platform that UA-cam will listen to

The one way I can see them being honest here is if they're using a different search that what the public has access to. That could be true for a tech team, but I *highly* doubt it's true for the PR team that runs the twitter.
