I have never had a father figure, however if i ever did, i’d want him to be like you. You are such a role model with how much you know about nature and how generally intelligent you are. Love your content, keep it up
I love Jenny's little laugh when you said no one can stop you from having custard in a gravy boat. Merry Christmas to you both, to Eva, your children and all those who you had dear ❤️.
"Custard is being served in a gravy boat and no-one can stop me" 😂 I'm in a rough patch mentally and I just cracked up properly at that. Thank you for everything you do Mike, you're always a light in dark times for me!
I adore the way you cook. It's very approachable. Things aren't perfect, things aren't always tasty (speaking from your limited budget challenges) but the process makes sense. It takes a lot of pressure away from learning how to cook. Merry Christmas!
Why is your channel just so damn wholesome? In a bad mood? Watch some Atomic Shrimp. Cheesed off with life? Watch some Atomic Shrimp. Leg hanging off? Watch some.. Maybe go to A&E 😂😭
Also when you're feeling ill. Because Atomic Shrimp is a wholesome feelgood channel. (well the scambaiting maybe a bit less so for me, but to each their own)
Who knows whether this'll make it to your eyes but regardless of that, I hope you have a wonderful christmas and new year Mr Shrimp, you're one of the most down-to-earth, modest and respectable youtube channels I've ever seen and your presence on the internet is greatly appreciated :)
Merry Christmas! I was just talking to my wife about you last night and realised the reason I love your videos so is that you remind me of all the best bits of my late dad. We had a tumultuous relationship and it's really helped me a heal a bit by having you remind me of his best bits. Thank you.
My Christmas will be a little better because of a stranger on the internet. Thanks Mike, your channel has given me the confidence and inspiration to use my oven for more than storage and my bride is impressed. Merry Christmas ;)
Been watching Shrimp regularly for almost a year now. This has been a rough year but things have started looking up for me as of late. Honestly the most soothing channel on UA-cam.
If you like the taste of Lidl's Lebkuchen, you should try to get your hands on (Elisen-)Lebkuchen from Nürnberg, they are on a whole other level haha. Thanks for another year of funny, educational and recreational content. I am 30 and never really had a role model but since I found your channel a few years back, I knew exactly what I aspire to be. Merry Christmas you two :)
Yes, Lebkuchen, Printen and Spekulatius definitely come in slightly different varieties/qualities. And it's worth spending a little more on the good stuff. When I was living in Berlin, I would order a 'care paket' every November from my hometown Aachen. No idea, if these type of small businesses will ship to post Brexit England, though.
It was so sweet to see, you telling Jenny, "I just made this up as i go along; about this much?" and her just happy to get a large slice of experimental pudding, sure that it would be delicious.
Merry Christmas Mike, Jenny and Eva! I hope 2023 is a very prosperous year for you both! i love watching your videos Mike, they keep me entertained when im feeling low and Jenny also reminds me so much of my Mother in law, she sounds so much like her and they look so similar too! Sadly my MIL passed away in 2021 with dementia so its lovely hearing Jenny every now and then!
Speaking of stout beers, I had a really nice one last night. At an early Christmas dinner with my friend, it was dessert stout called Fudgebeast, and she couldn't finish it since it was 12% alcohol, so I was forced to have the rest. I know, quite chrivalrous of me. It was sweet, with a fairly strong coffee flavour over a thick dark chocolate brownie. Anyway, thanks for all the great videos this year! Hope you have a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year!
Dear Mr. Warosa, I just had a memory; Pandemic of 2020, I was stuck in Sweden, I made your banana custard steam pudding, I brought it to a Christmas lunch and it was a huge hit. I am eager to make it again. 🍌
I have not had Christmas Pudding since 1994 when I was living in Newmarket. I am wanting to try to make my own now! It looks so good. And custard in a gravy boat? I say "Yes, Please." Thank you for all of your videos. I thoroughly enjoy watching your creativity. Happy Holidays to you and Yours!!
Merry Christmas to Jenny, Eva, and you. Thank you for making my quiet Christmas a little more festive this year. Jenny's a lucky lady - all your gardening and food experiments mean that she's always eating something interesting (in the most positive meaning of the word). Christmas in a new house with most things still in boxes (or not yet repurchased) and you still managed a traditional treat.
Looks absolutely delicious. Also, I don't know why but for some reason towards the end when you had the pause after tasting it, I was expecting an outburst of "It's bloody awful!" 😅 Merry Christmas to you and yours Mike, and a very happy new year.
It's been a wonderful Shrimping year. Like many others, came for the scambaiting, stayed for the cooking and other quirkily brilliant other content. Looking forward to 2023.
Maybe you can upcycle some Christmas puddings they sell off after Christmas in the supermarkets. I remember buying a smallish but still decent size Christmas pudding for 0,99 pounds a few years ago when I visited London. Your future few pounds challenges might benefit and get richer. Merry Christmas to you, Mr. AtomicShrimp and Jenny. And a virtual pat for the doggo!
Looks yum, if you make a loop of string over the top of your basin it makes it very easy to lift out of the pot without scalding your fingers. My Grandmother taught me this as a small child, she passed when I was quite young but always remembered this piece of wisdom. BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL.
Merry Christmas Mr and Mrs Shrimp. Thank you for many hours of peaceful exportations. Your videos inspire me and help me center myself after a challenging day.
Thanks for this lovely festive recipe! ( I miss you prepping in front of the toaster for some reason ). Wishing you and your lovely family and precious Eva a very blessed and peaceful Happy Christmas! 🤩🤩🤩
I'm currently spending Christmas in Nepal with my wife's family, and this has really made me miss Christmas this year. I've not had any festive food while I've been here, and I think when I get back to the UK I might have to make this just to compensate!
Hi guys and Merry Xmas. I learned something new today. I'm not a big beer drinker. I calculated once that I've only drunk around 50 beers in my 70 years of dancing on this ball, most of that was with a spicy hot dinner. But I never heard of cellar temp for beer drinking in the UK. From what I understand cellar temp is around 50F. (I looked it up 55F 12C). You also reminded me of my one and only time making fruit cake and. a couple of weeks later, Christmas pudding, in the 1970s. my boiled pudding cooked on the stove for 8 hours or so, it kept the house warm and smelled lovely. It tasted lovely but my preference is for desserts of the Souffle, Bavarian Cream variety, intense flavours but airy textures. our puddings looked the same. I used suet and treacle (dark molasses) and even imported chestnuts. Lovely memories. Thanks, Jim Oaxaca Mexico
My Mum used to start her "instant" Christmas pud on Dec 23rd by putting the dried fruits to soak in Guinness overnight👍 putting it altogether on the 24th she's also included chopped sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Fabulous.
A very interesting recipe. My mum used to make the christmas pud in July, it was about 95% dried fruit, and was steeped in brandy for 6 months.... It was delicious but very, very heavy. Using grated carrot and other fruits seems to have lightened it up a bit, and is probably more enjoyable "on the day" - our pud often got left till boxing day because no-one fancied it after the blockbusting main course. I think mum felt if you could walk out the house on Christmas day then she had starved you somehow.
Yes. I've always been put off Christmas pud because it seems so dense. This one looks a lot lighter and easier to eat. I'm not a sweet or pudding eater, so I'd probably give it a miss though!
Need a bigger like button cos that looks DELICIOUS, thank you I am now inspired to try and make my own - buying one in Canada is very difficult. Happy Christmas to you and your family!
Just wonderful. I would invest in that brilliant pressure cooker just to make my grandad's recipe again without the walls running with water from the hours of steaming. A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all the family.
I'm looking forward to this. I love Christmas pudding, but the ones in store always put nuts in which I personally hate, or you buy the ones without nuts but then they leave out the alcohol too. It's like you can only have everything or nothing. Once I have my own kitchen I'll attempt this with my own odds and sods.
My nana used to use half self-raising flour and beer in her Christmas puddings and they were always nice and light. I enjoy a Christmas pudding or an Eccles cake much more than chocolate cake as I get older... I do a fried rice with raisins greens and mixed spice... it's much nicer than it sounds
Looks good! My Nan, rest her soul, always put grated carrot in her Christmas puds. They were the dog's danglies! Happy Christmas to you and Mrs. Shrimp.
JENNY BROKE THE FOURTH WALL! Merry Christmas to you both and I hope the house move is mostly over! it's a stressful experience whichever way you cut it!
Seasons greetings to you both, really enjoyed the video. Reminds me of my Mums recipe which came from her mum she used to put a parsnip and carrot in along with dried mixed fruit and chopped nuts along with a big glue of brandy! Hope Xmas in your new home goes well and you have a happy 2023
I always cook my christmas pudding in the slow cooker, just bung it on and leave it alone for a few hours. The good thing with a pud is it is almost impossible to overcook one. Happy Christmas!
That was a fun video to watch, and, as someone from across the North Sea who has never seen a christmas pudding, also mildly educational. Also a merry Christmas to you and Jenny.
Wishing you, Jenny, Eva and all your family a wonderful festive season. I am looking forward to see what you bring to us all in 2023 and looking forward to learning new things. I xxxx
barry lewis actually did a vid on a quick vs long slow cooked pudding a few days ago, with the result being one tasting like xmas pudding and the other like xmas cake
May everyone in the Shrimp family and extended community have a safe and happy festive season; and may 2023 be (in some personally appropriate way) better than 2022
Merry christmas and happy new year to you and yours! thanks for the year of fun content and heres to another. also i love the lidl christmas chocolate assortments in the background, a christmas staple in my home too.

You really are a clever bodger Mr Shrimp. That looked smashing. Happy Christmas to you and your family
Mmmm, meat flavoured custard
"Custard is being served in a gravy boat and no-one can stop me" 😂 I'm in a rough patch mentally and I just cracked up properly at that. Thank you for everything you do Mike, you're always a light in dark times for me!
How are you doing at the moment?
I adore the way you cook. It's very approachable. Things aren't perfect, things aren't always tasty (speaking from your limited budget challenges) but the process makes sense. It takes a lot of pressure away from learning how to cook.
Merry Christmas!
Thanks - yeah, fear of failure puts a lot of people off trying, I feel, but failure is a great teacher!
I very much agree, his cooking videos are so wholesome and approachable, makes me want to jump in the kitchen and make something new!
Why is your channel just so damn wholesome?
In a bad mood? Watch some Atomic Shrimp.
Cheesed off with life? Watch some Atomic Shrimp.
Leg hanging off? Watch some.. Maybe go to A&E 😂😭
If your leg's hanging off, someone else is driving. Which is the perfect opportunity to watch some Atomic Shrimp.
Thank you that made me smile after a bit of a Christmas stress day
Also when you're feeling ill. Because Atomic Shrimp is a wholesome feelgood channel.
(well the scambaiting maybe a bit less so for me, but to each their own)
Gotta lot of time in A&E to watch, gotta be at least 5 hours for a missing leg. Then they'll just send you home to watch more atomic shrimp.
@@abyssaljam441 Thinking about it, yeah. If you've got your phone on ya and some mobile data, you're sorted! Weird stuff in a can, in a hospital bed!

Hope 2023 is better for you!
Currently got a christmas cake in the oven for my mum, watching christmas pudding get made, life is good
If you like the taste of Lidl's Lebkuchen, you should try to get your hands on (Elisen-)Lebkuchen from Nürnberg, they are on a whole other level haha. Thanks for another year of funny, educational and recreational content. I am 30 and never really had a role model but since I found your channel a few years back, I knew exactly what I aspire to be.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁⛄
Heck yeah! My brother usually bring elisen kuchen when he visits. It's like comparing gold to lead.
Anyway, thanks for all the great videos this year! Hope you have a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year!
Zesting the orange made me realize how it might be helpful to zest with the tool aimed at the bowl, you can see all the oils flying in the air
That's true!
2:35 you can visibly see all the zest/oils forming a very weak cloud to the right as Shrimp zests the orange
Absolutely love your content. Please do a evening with shrimp. Or do an audio book please. Merry Christmas to you and jenny and don't forget eva
Merry Christmas Shrimpy and Jenny (and Eva).
Dear Mr. Warosa, I just had a memory; Pandemic of 2020, I was stuck in Sweden, I made your banana custard steam pudding, I brought it to a Christmas lunch and it was a huge hit. I am eager to make it again. 🍌

I smiled so wide with this episode's "chiefs privilege" made me think of my Dad. Cheers and happy holiday.
Hope you all have good xmas in the new castle. Thanks for all the years of cheap food inspiration, saved me loads 👍🖖🍺🌲🌲🌲⛄️⛄️⛄️
Merry Christmas to the Shrimp family. Thank you for some fab vids this year. Your imagination and practical hard work is much appreciated.
Wishing Mike, Jenny, Eva & all curious viewers of this channel a very happy/merry Christmas.. 🎄
Merry Christmas Mr. Shrimp. Thank you for being yourself and allowing us all to join you on your many adventures.
Merry Christmas at all at Atomic Shrimp HQ! Keep up the good work for 2023!
Merry Christmas Mike, Jenny and Eva! Congrats on the new Shrimp HQ, looking forward to another year of quirky, goofy, and just plain wonderful videos!
Looks absolutely delicious.
Also, I don't know why but for some reason towards the end when you had the pause after tasting it, I was expecting an outburst of "It's bloody awful!" 😅
Merry Christmas to you and yours Mike, and a very happy new year.
Me too 😅
Lol
That looked absolutely delicious, pity it'd just be me that would eat it in our house. Merry Christmas to you, Mr Shrimp, Jenny, and Eva.
You're the cool Uncle I never had. Thanks for all the neat stuff this year. The clay pots were my favourite :)
I hope Eva got a little spoonful. Merry Christmas, Mr. Shrimp et al.
There's a lot in a pudding like that which shouldn't and or couldn't be given to a dog
I guess a bit of custard wouldn't hurt
That looked really good! We also wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year! From us in Sweden!
It's been a wonderful Shrimping year. Like many others, came for the scambaiting, stayed for the cooking and other quirkily brilliant other content. Looking forward to 2023.

I'm in a good mood now, thank you! Enjoy the jolly days!
This channel offers so much “food for thought” (pun intended). Very inspiring! Thank you for creating this content!
"Today I'm feeling super festive"
That's a feeling I haven't had for over a decade, which is both positive and negative.
Merry Christmas Mr and Mrs Shrimp. Thank you for many hours of peaceful exportations. Your videos inspire me and help me center myself after a challenging day.
Merry Christmas Mike and family. Here's hoping for another great year of content.
Merry Christmas to you and your family too. And as we say in Germany, "Guten Rutsch," which I guess translates to slip well (into the next year).
Hi guys and Merry Xmas. I learned something new today. I'm not a big beer drinker. That looked yummy and a proper serving of Christmas pud. 😋😋😋
Happy Holidays to you and your family (Eva too!!!), Shrimp! Thanks for another year of absolutely astounding, yet informative, videos.
Wishing you a great Christmas in your new HQ Mr and Mrs Shrimp.
Thank you for entertaining us and letting us come along with you this year.
Looks great. Gravy boat line was hilarious. Wishing the Shrimp family and all the fans a very Merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
Merry Christmas, thanks for the festiveness!
"Girthy Carrot". Sounds like a rather wide Country and Western singer.
Merry Christmas, Mike and Jenny.
Merry Xmas Mr and Mrs Shrimp!
Yeah, almost anything in this one can be swapped out. There are walnuts and chestnuts in it, but you could add some more dried fruits instead
Merry Christmas, friend! I'm glad I found your channel and hope you have a happy and prosperous 2023!
I always like how Mr shrimp always serves Mrs shrimp first in the taste testing part of the video & merry Christmas ⛄🌲
Looks good!
My Nan, rest her soul, always put grated carrot in her Christmas puds. They were the dog's danglies!
Happy Christmas to you and Mrs. Shrimp.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thanks for sharing your life with us 💖💙.
Another wonderful video upload Mr Shrimp. Happy and Peaceful Christmas to you, Jenny and your lovely family.
These things have always intrigued me, the ones from Townsend's too, like the crocodiles of dessert, merry Christmas mr
Shrimp
JENNY BROKE THE FOURTH WALL! Merry Christmas to you both and I hope the house move is mostly over! it's a stressful experience whichever way you cut it!
All the best to you and Jennifer x
Seasons greetings to you both, really enjoyed the video. Reminds me of my Mums recipe which came from her mum she used to put a parsnip and carrot in along with dried mixed fruit and chopped nuts along with a big glue of brandy!
Hope Xmas in your new home goes well and you have a happy 2023
That looks like a great pudding Mr Shrimp...Happy Christmas and thanks so much for all the videos.
Your cooking videos are so relaxing and the perfect way to round out my day. Cheers!
Thanks and Merry Christmas right back at you!🌞 🌲🌟 🌠
I always cook my christmas pudding in the slow cooker, just bung it on and leave it alone for a few hours. The good thing with a pud is it is almost impossible to overcook one. Happy Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you guys too.
Merry Christmas to you too.🎄
Happy holidays, folks 🍀😃
Merryy Christmas, Mr. & Mrs. Shrimp !
Yayyy!!! Loving this magnificent Creation!!!
That was a fun video to watch, and, as someone from across the North Sea who has never seen a christmas pudding, also mildly educational.
Also a merry Christmas to you and Jenny.
Merry Christmas to you too!
Wishing you, Jenny, Eva and all your family a wonderful festive season.
I am looking forward to see what you bring to us all in 2023 and looking forward to learning new things. I xxxx
A happy Christmas to the Shrimp family! I hope it's filled with "weird stuff in a can " and some not so weird stuff too.
barry lewis actually did a vid on a quick vs long slow cooked pudding a few days ago, with the result being one tasting like xmas pudding and the other like xmas cake
Thank you for a pudding recipe, Mike. And hope you had a very merry Christmas indeed!
A happy Christmas to you and yours Mr Shrimp.
Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing. My mouth is watering.
Merry Christmas, Mr Shrimp and family!
Merry Shrimpmas
Merry Christmas to you and Jenny and Eva! ❤
Merry Christmas! Smashing pud! 🎄
Merry Christmas to you and your lovely little family 🌲❤️ Thank you for sharing your videos with us 😊
Happy Christmas, Shrimp and Jenny and Eva
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Canada!
You didn’t set it on fire shrimp, that’s always the best bit. Have a great first Christmas in the new house
You are so going to make that next year for yourselves. I can tell 😊 Merry Christmas, both.
Mike, Jenny and Eva. Have a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous new year.
Best realisation I've had is that old receipts tend to be through what ever you have into a pot. Although that's way more nuts than I put in Christmas pudding, ie any amount of nuts.
That looks quite yummy. Well done and Merry Christmas!
That looks lovely. Your proportions turned out perfect. It seems similar to our fruitcake that I make here in America.
Mary Christmas to you all.
