I miss the Farley/Sandler/Myers/Carver/Spade, etc years of the early 90’s. Best lineup IMHO.
Tim meadows too
I agree!
It was not that great at all lol
You forgot Phil Hartman--he was brilliant , was such a trajic loss the way he died.. i guess the great ones like Farley & Hartman die young :(
The disrespect for Chris Rock
I like it. Especially Heather facing the cue cards reading instead of who she was talking to.
This was the best. Especially Adam Sandler as Billy 😂😂😂
The Billy and Allison impersonations KILLED ME! Billy's lisp and Allison's constant scoffing and eye rolling LOL
The only thing missing was her saying “Billy!” In that high voice lol
I came to the comments to say exactly this! Hilarious! 🤣🤣
Yes and Billy holding his mouth open! Lol
That's more just Adam Sandler being Adam "Shandler".
I like the way Chris Farley trying to move the hair from it being in his eyes . 😂
This was pretty spot on if you were a true Melrose Place fan back in the day. Would've been fun if we got the opening sequence.
I remember it...I even had the Rolling Stone with "the Bod Squad" on the cover...and I think Kimberly had just returned back form the dead :)
I was a fan, but I was a teenager when MP aired, so I wasn't watching the episodes consistently and missed a lot (due to my busy teenage life). But during lockdown last year, I managed to download all episodes. So I'm up to speed now (over 25yrs later, lol!).
The first thing that came to mind was "this is SO 90s" 😂. But I loved that feeling of nostalgia.
LOL, I had forgotten in the 90's---every other female character on TV or a romcom movie was an "advertising executive" in a business miniskirt
Julia Sweeney's portrayal of Jo was perfection.
Julia nailed it! 😂
Thought it was Jo at first
Saying New York 30 times was funny.
Adam Sandler as Billy🤣🤣🤣
Alison, come back. I miss you. 😆 🤣
Billy was such a buffoon! Adam nailed it perfectly! 😂
"Heather Locklear-she could give a dog a bone...r"- funny line.
It's awesome and I'm gonna bring it back 😁
@Parris ofTroy no ass wipe, it was a parody of Melrose Place, not Wayne's World. Do try to keep up.
i love the fact that wayne and garth sleep in the same bed
Garth wasn’t in the skit
@@zt1053 wayne saw a blond sleeping next to him and though it was garth, we can only assume that has happend before
@@Mrscillianmurphy19 Assuming much ??
@@Mrscillianmurphy19 watch out... you're making men uncomfortable 🤣
That’s a lil sus
Ladies and Gentilmen this was the very last Wayne's World sketch on SNL season 19 it was a sad good bye 😭😭😭😭
The next SNL Wayne’s World was 17 years later, in Feb 2011, Garth and Wayne did a WWcold open to preview the Oscars, then in 2015 for the SNL 40th Anniversary Show. But the last regular SNL WW featuring both Wayne and Garth was in 1992, as Dana Carvey left SNL in Spring1993.
@mickFunny Dana Carvey left SNL in February of 1993 not Spring of 93.
@@raheemhamilton8624 He came back for a few cameos in the 93-94 to do Wayne's World skits
@@zt1053 this is the 93-94 season you are watching. This sketch is the season finale of SNL season 19. This is the last time we see Wayne in a sketch. Season 20 you did not see him and Mike left SNL in January of 1995.
Wayne's World 2 doing poorly at the box office is what killed the Wayne's World Franchise. If it had been a hit Dana Carvey would still have wanted to come back and do Wayne's World skits but he saw viewers had lost interest in the franchise and decided to move on.
Chris Farley R.I.P. A talent that died too young.
Rip
Killed himself too early
He was incredible. Y a know so many people have died of drugs, and or alcohol. Not just the down and out but the rich and famous. They used to talk at about 27 with rock stars. No need to analyze it as a group. Addiction or abuse can be at any age. stats for everything.
Don't do drugs.
@@TacoMonster4eva What do you mean? What are getting at? What are you trying to say?
Wayne's World is amay-schwing!
Needed some comedy!!! I miss Chris Farley. Love Wayne in Melrose Place.
Jake (sees Wayne leaving Amanda's apartmnt) "Wayne ? whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat are you doing here ?"
Wayne says " Amanda, sweet and Amanda ".
Mike Myers was in that movie " so I married an axe murderer ". Where he says " Harriet, sweet Harriet"!.
Nobody copies himself more than Mike Myers. That stairs/elevator/escalator bit he did in Austin Powers was from an earlier Wayne’s world sketch
There's an episode of Melrose Place entitled I Married A Jock Murderer 😁
Heather Locklear was born to wear a mini skirt!!!! So hot!!
Was.
What are you trying to say?
@@trevertravis8963 that you're a complete idiot
(No offense intended)
It just wasn’t the same without Garth
If only this was a whole parody movie. Too bad. This is gold.
This line up is legendary. 😃
"Hurry up tho', eh - y'can take the boy from Canada...
So Wayne & Garth slept in the same bed? No way.
Way.
Chris Farley did Jake better than Jake 🤣
Chris Farley LOL
Heather Locklear reading off the cue cards was adorable
Alisson and Billy were the best couple ever! Shut up! 😤
😂😂😂
Mike Myers and Adam Sandler in the same sketch lol
Jane: "Stay away from her Wayne!"
Chris Farley so funny
Farley was the funniest part of that sketch.
He was a scene stealer.
@@msw8839
He didn't even have to do much either, he had ''it''. He really stood out. I love him.
@@timidbeauty2355 Yes! I love him too.
This is genius!! I love MP
Heather is so beautiful.❤️
Nice! A scene with Chris Farley that I've not seen. :-D
Chris Farley as Jake roflmao
The 90s were so fun . Wayne's world & melrose place ! I remember laughing how Wayne loved michael bc he banged every woman practically on the show . One line he said that I still recall " I think theirs something in the pool. Come to think of it, I was normal before I moved in " lol. So true the first season was pretty boring until heather locklear showed up towards the end of the first season & Michael started cheating on poor jane. It started off trying to be like 90210's 1st season with social issues . Its more interesting for teens plus the show got better when they sorta dropped that & became more about the group hanging out & doing fun stuff plus dylan & brenda saved the show. Same with heather locklear . 90210 blew up when dylan & brenda had sex at the dance . I can't believe how prudish the backlash got. They had to " punish " brenda with a pregnancy scare even though they used protection & they broke them up. Melrose place got good when the wild stories happened I knew it was gonna be fire when Kimberly pulled off her wig to show that horrible scar on her head. I mean it scared the crap out of me. Lol. Heather is so gorgeous here, look how high her hemline is on that skirt!
in short both shows, 90210 and Melrose, became nighttime soap operas
I liked Melrose Place the best when it got really wild for about one season.
@@jimdigitalvideo the show was wild from seasons 2-7, season 1 is the only realistic "nice" season. The shoe became a real, trashy, sleazy soap opera, very mean spirited cutthroat and over the top and it was fucking great!
@@samosler4009 yes , sorry I was so long winded but melrose place was great seasons 2 ,3 & 4 it started getting silly around 96. 90210 was great near the end of season 1 to season 7. I think it could have been ok after college but it just wasnt . They re did drug addictions too many times. When valerie & brandon left I thought it was over. I did not care about the newer characters. How many more bad things can u watch happen to Kelly taylor for godsakes. After season 7 she was shot sexually harassed & raped then killed her rapist. Maybe she went on trial I cant remember .
@@natalieps2387 yup, I remember after being shot she went into a coma and work up and then had amnesia for a few months
I love this skit! This is when SNL was good!
This is classic humor!! The greats...
so good to see a skit from back then.
I'm crying!! This is soooo accurate!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wayne is like if Ernest played Ted 'Theodore' Logan in Bill & Ted's Excellent adventure.
That woman who plays "Alison" is one of my favorite SNL cast members. And I don't even know her name and she's not really well known.
Melanie Hutsell. Completely agree. Highly underrated.
@@chrisod22 Ah, that's her name. Thank you!
I thought she was funny and cute back then.
I didn't know Sarah Silverman and Jay Mohr were former SNL cast members! Excellent!
so technically not a Wayne's World sketch (because I imagine he couldn't really do it anymore without Dana)
Dana left SNL in 1993, and SNL attempted only 2 WW sketches after that, in late 93, and this one in 1994.
1:00 LOL, so he normally sleeps with Garth?
Only in his dreams.
Diddly-dum, diddly-dum, diddly-dum~
I remember this. It was the first season without Dana Carvey.
It sucked that we never got Saturday Night Live in Australia in the early 90's
Melrose place is the best show ever ❤
Noone can do Amanda better than Amanda😂
was this pre taped? or shot outside studio 8h? that set is huge
My guess: the intro part was live. Then the stage goes dark and they show the pre-taped "dream" part to the studio audience on screens. Wardrobe people help Mike Meyers get into Heather Locklear clothes, then the ending part is live again.
@@tomripsin730 I’m not sure about that. If they pretaped it why would Heather be reading cue cards?
@@ViaticalTree why would she not? Pre-taped part is like a normal part, just recorded in some other location.
@@charlieshanowsky6103 If it’s pretaped there’s no reason you couldn’t memorize your lines. Especially considering she had so few lines.
@@ViaticalTree Because of the main producer of the show Lorne Michaels, all actors HAVE TO read from cue cards. Even if it makes no sense, or seems to be not even possible (free-camera long shots). In every single sketch.
5:40 is that Sarah Silverman
0:39 LOL
GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5:35. Yay! Sarah Silverman in a summer dress and Docs.
5.50 is that Sarah Silverman?
yep She started out as an SNL writer for 20 episodes and featured in 18 episodes in 1993-1994
@mieczyslaw W OK, who put a dime in the idiot?
Rip legend
interesting how there isn't any comments here noting sarah silverman's appearance. i sort of remember seeing her at the time but didn't really know who she was i think til something about mary
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm ! Julia looking fit for a change..
Melrose Place is very good!!
Beverly Hills 90210 had real babe fest . Tiffani Theisson , Jennie Garth & Kathleen Robertson
Tiffani Thiesson ranks very high on the strokability scale!
@Derek Coleman still hot
I watched this when it first aired- I was lmao at Billy 😂😂😂 His mouth was always opened and he and Alison were so annoying! But it was my fav show lol this is hilarious with the best SNL cast
You're catching flies there chief. LMAO
It's amazing how bad Heather was in this
This is too good. LOL
it needed some Garth
AWESOME!!😂😂
Strange… I don't remember all the actors being so young when this first aired.
love Heather!.
Jay Mohr as Doug
Aurora, Illinois Melrose Place. More like Melrose Park
The legs ain't the only part that went scwing, eh Wayne? And ain't that Jake ,from State Farm?
I didnt know Billy madison was in Melrose place
The BEST!
No one told Wayne that his fly was down for the entire skit.
Awesome skit! Loved it! The only one missing was Kimberly!!! :)
I don't think Kimberly was a big thing at this point. Wayne mentioned her as just some chick down at the hospital.
Oh my god, Tommy Boy 😂❤
If only mad tv had these guys
Heather Locklear,the ultimate babe.and I am girl.
so? beauty's beauty.
Who plays Allison in this skit?
Melanie Hutsell. Very funny, lesser known player on the show at that time.
Was Heather reading while acting as a joke or did she not know her lines?
It's SNL... They all use cue cards
She was just playing it all up lol. Being silly with it all.
@@jonnuanez2843 Cue cards, dummy. She was in fact reading cue cards.
This makes you appreciate how the current cast memorizes or ad libs more of their lines. It's distracting how much they're reading from the cue cards in this. Otherwise great cast and skit
Wayne made cut jeans popular before they were popular
Sarah Silverman!
Dam I forgot how hot heather was.
She was the reason I watched Spin City, AFTER Michael J. Fox left...
Oh, that was funny!
This is funny as hell. Too bad SNL ain't this funny anymore.
I thought this was lame as shit.
SNL serves its purpose today as political propaganda
Wayne Campbell Gets Laid
I was in my 20s when this show was on and I didn't watch one minute of it. Learn more about the show on this skit then the years it was on
I remember the "sound asleep club" anyone else?
I used to a crush on Adam Sandler
Chris Farley was hot.
This one I remember
4:22 Adam Sandler?
yes... yes it is
Wow these jokes go over my head one by one... Am I the only one!?
Yeah....if your not a Gen X or older.
@@tedgegi155 I was born in 1980
@Derek Coleman I was born in 84 and I got the whole thing... but I love Wayne's world and melrose place

Marcia cross
5:36....the newspaper. WTH? Face masks?
Okay bhai all
Perfect parody... Adam Sandler has more range than Andrew Shue here 😮 slack jawed yokel
Agreed.
So true.
Brilliant deductions Dylan
Heather Locklear - I would drink her bath water
+D.S. That's actually what Arsenio Hall said about Diana Ross on his show one time.
In 1994 ok, but not now :)
Back when SNL was funny.
