Nailed it Chris. I have a Tuono Factory, Panigale V4S and a Thruxton RS. I always only had sport bikes and supernakeds. I added a Street Glide ST last year and I just love riding it. No pressure to go fast and no compromises on comfort or features. It’s actually quite capable and fun when you’re pushing it - if I rode my other bikes as hard I’d be in trouble. The only downsides are weight when moving it around the driveway and it’s expensive. It’s extended my riding season to all year because of the weather protection too. It totally changed my mind about touring bikes.
Yeah and Chris's comment about just enjoying the ride without needing to go too fast is very true. I converted my mt07 into a touring bike with big screen, handguards, luggage etc and it's the bike I love to go visiting places on, as you enjoy the views rather than going too fast. My other bikes, Tuono 1100 and s1000r, are great for weekend rides, but they are all about the roads and at a faster pace...
These are true performers as far as an American air cooled V Twin goes. Aluminum forged frame, fox adjustable rear shock, braided lines, low mounted engine. For what they are, they LOVE tucking in and forging a tight inner corner line. I ride a GSXR, and even I say these things about this chassis. With the Stage 2 kit, these are absolute missiles with cornering chops to boot. Its "turn-in" takes NO effort, and is nearly a sharp dive. I've never felt that on any other fully faired bikes, even BMWs. The slightest weight into the steering initiates a near immediate weight shift and it truly impresses me.
Contagious enthusiasm for our sport and your usual style and insights. Interesting to see our American iron getting a go on the other size of the pond.
Yeah just looks like the Indians on Mulholland! Yup those v twins just pull like a truck from idle. Nice work on the production and content and location! 🌴
You guys are one of my Top UA-cam channels right now . Unfortunately UA-cam didn't saw me this channel before. Found it by accident 😂. Keep up the great work
For all the same reasons, I would still go for something a less heavy and classic, with a torque biased powertrain. Triumph Speed Twin. Triumph Scrambler 1200. Triumph Bobber. Royal Enfield Continental GT. Moto Guzzi V7.
Second Indian video I’ve seen today that the words Bagger and Cruiser are used interchangeably. In the Harley world a bagger is a Touring Chassis and a Cruiser is a Softail. So is this a Touring Chassis or a Cruiser Chassis?
lol When it comes right down to it, I'll ride anything that has 2 wheels. In my fiscally po, comfortable old (65) age...that would be a '72 T100R Daytona and '18 KLR-650. Fortunately, for me, one of my best friends has a fleet of 20+ bikes. THAT is where I go to ride the '94 Duck 900SS SP, the (now sold) Guzzi Daytona 1000 (4 valves Canadian spec, never sold in US), ST 1300, etc. I'm a biker Ho 😎 I'll ride anything! Welcome to the club, Chris 🖐
It's called satellite lag. When you're moving at 60 and 70 mph it's to be expected. Your GPS locator has to send a signal to the satellite and then the satellite transfers that signal back down to your navigation system. By the time all that has happened you're past that point.
@@marksmith9350 Oh I know - it just amused me that it was almost dead on accurate to 50 yards back. Pretty much all systems do it in certain places where the signal takes a while. I prefer maps personally but thats because I like the adventure and sights. Nice to have the tech but I usually turn them off.
I am very much a cruiser bike guy but i don't really like the look of the new bigger versions and their "batwing" fairing. In the indian lineup i absolutely love the Chief Bobber.
Great review , like you I don’t want to give up the idiot in me, but would like something to compliment my KTM 890r when I just want to go for a ride…always enjoy you perspective. !
My Victory Cross Country Tour was my favourite bike ever, this one is nice but no Victory. Yes once you get used to some of the features it is hard to get on a bike that does not have it. Good, fair and honest review.
I’m totally on board with these bikes in theory- flowing riding on flowing roads in the sun. Except we don’t really have those in the UK! Or at least not many in SE England. Also a legs forward position kills my back. So sadly I can only admire cruisers from a distance and stick with my R9t for a Sunday pose

I love when sport bike riders take a bagger out. No fear of leaning them. Now try a challenger in sport mode.
Chris still riding quicker through corners than I'd manage on my sportsbike ;-)
🤣

Chris is a great moto reviewer, even the best I’ve seen in UA-cam. Keep going on
I like the belt final drive, geared primary drive and hydraulic tappets. The price - not as much !
You guys are one of my Top UA-cam channels right now . Unfortunately UA-cam didn't saw me this channel before. Found it by accident 😂. Keep up the great work
Isn't that the normal Chieftain and not the Dark Horse - I thought they had black exhausts and more blacked out engine components etc.
Is it cheaper in primer!
Great reviews chris.. Like your work.
What happened to the Indian flat track bike you were building????
Nice to see Chris is a Cancer Bats fan!
I'd love to see you drift one on wet leaves or something
Not massive lean angles but it looked like panniers were scraping ...🤣🤣🤣
It sounds like it too at 10:15 !
If anything is scrapping it'll be the pipes. If the bags are scrapping I'm afraid it's all over rover.
The best dash in motorcycling.
Where in the Algarve did you ride, please?
This was on the roads around Salir.
For all the same reasons, I would still go for something a less heavy and classic, with a torque biased powertrain.
Triumph Speed Twin.
Triumph Scrambler 1200.
Triumph Bobber.
Royal Enfield Continental GT.
Moto Guzzi V7.
The ole, riding a slow bike fast, is more fun.
I didn't think the "Darkhorse " had chrome exhaust? My 2020 CDH is all blacked out as is every other DH I've seen.Great review none the less.
I'm an 'old timer'. Never had a big cruiser but, I would have one of those tomorrow if I had the money.
Now you've got to review the BMW R18! I've got my sportsbikes as well and love them both
Not my cup of tea but still a great review as always
I am a die hard superbike fan, but I like anything on two wheels.
It's It's different experience but just a much fun
But does it wheelie?
Owned a 2017 Indian chieftain! Great cruiser with a wonderful sound, relatively smooth engine, great tech and features for a classic American bagger.
You need to get a ride on the bike Jeremy McW used to win in Daytona.

Reminds me off a hammer head shark LMFAO 😂
lol

Its a beauty
The satnav screen with dials either side looks like ET...
Hello bike world, " IF POSSIBLE" please review 370 HP " TTS SUPERBUSA" .
Amusing how the sat nav is pretty much always showing you where you were 50 yards ago.

4500rpm/5000rpm it´s a diesel bike! lol
I was waiting for you to wheelie it man. Nothing like seeing a chief or Harley wheelie haha
I am very much a cruiser bike guy but i don't really like the look of the new bigger versions and their "batwing" fairing. In the indian lineup i absolutely love the Chief Bobber.
Try Nepal yatri bike.
We all start as Dirt-bike guys then Sport-bikes monsters and eventually Cruiser bike guys - welcome to middle age riding-lol
👍👍👍
Very cool to see you riding an American v-twin bagger! All about riding in the moment and forgetting about everything else. It is an event
I like the concept but, being of a smaller stature, rider triangle doesn't suit me very well.
Shout out to Cancer Bats!
Great review , like you I don’t want to give up the idiot in me, but would like something to compliment my KTM 890r when I just want to go for a ride…always enjoy you perspective. !
Ya I wouldn't mind a cruiser as a second bike. My wife wants to ride with me and I refuse to take her on the smc r 🤣
Cancer Bats 👏👏👏
"i recieve messages through my herpes"
wait let's rewind that one.

Its a way to enjoy the roads with maybe a much higher chance of not riding like a duche bag and surviving to ride again💀
Not my cup of tea, and what's with the insipid colour scheme?
That said, I'd watch Chris review navel lint.
Why does Indian chose such dull colours? Its like its still in the primer stage
I guess I'm weird 🤪
I dig those new 'flat' colors (grey, sandstone,olive,etc)...on vehicles also
Bike World obviously trying to curb Chris's misbehaviour by making him review expensive baggers..
🤢
What a god-awful looking bike.
An ugly bike and an ugly color, only my opinion, of course. Thanks for the video!
That will look great parked outside the Blue Oyster Bar 😂
Just needs some a55less chaps, a little leather cap and some flamenco music.
