The other night my buddy and I spent three hours in one mission due to being invaded six times.. best time we had playing a co-op game in a really long time..
My favorite bit about this game isn't even the Axis invasions. It's when you get the officers telling their men to calm down and not to behave like Italians. Many chuckles were had.
I'm worried that it's going to be hard to find matches someday. Obviously all the casual players will complete it and then probably never come back. There will be no noobs to mess with in a years time lol.
Dying light has invasions and you can find matches easily to invade and you get invaded as soon as you turn it on. And that game is 7 years old and I still play it. There will always be players playing.
the problem is that most of those who are playing campaign are new players...so 90% of the time you end up invading absolute newbies who don't know the maps yet and have no weapons and status upgrades...the only one who got me good was a lvl 3 in the first mission..I got over confident, thinking he was another newbie, but he was probably a veteran from SE 3/4...he baited me by completing an objective, then waited for me in a tall grass patch near the objective and stuck a knife in my back while i was running through.
@@Kiev-in-3-days don't really much care..taught me to never Lower my guard, and I still have a 90% win rate as the Invader ( even won invading 2 guys several times) . I'm fine with that 😆
Oh wait a minute..that sounds like me..I used to play SE5 and I did stab someone I think once. I camped out in the mansion on the top floor then hid somewhere and waited. Best moments of my life.
I don’t think I can get enough of invasions, on either side, a friend said it perfectly, it’s like cat and mouse, except the mouse is a highly trained sniper who can one shot you at any given time
Really like how you show your misteps and mistakes, and when sometimes the enemy outsmarts you as well as your victories. Makes for a more intense video as we don't know if you'll come out on top every time.
I like invaders that move around. I joined some random guy in co-op and we had an invader that sat in one spot for about 10 minutes until I caught him out by climbing up a wall he didn’t know about before I shot him in the back of the head.
It's always the dumb rambo Karl's that make easy pickings as they aren't using focus or listening properly. It's always good when you get a proper duel going and trying to outsmart a decent Karl. I find its pretty easy to kill invaders generally, most are impatient and can be baited.
There's just something about "Invasion" systems like this in games that makes me want to see more of them. And not like the ones in Dark Souls/Elden Ring where you can essentially come in with whatever you want even if it massively outclasses the person you invade. I'm talking Invasions where the invader comes in with essentially the same loadout the Invaded has, and it's up to the skill of the players to see who can use the terrain and equipment better. THAT is fun as hell, Not mister Armour of Thornes who rolls into you till you die.

Correction, Elden Ring invasions are only applicable if you have help from Summons only. And the Invader under no circumstance can outclass you, just outplay you.
Why do the run & gunners have invasion mode active? They know they're just gonna be running in the open and swarmed by NPCs half the time so won't have a chance against a human player. Surely, they just don't realize the mode exists and is on by default?
Is there a report player option? I kept being located immediately even when hiding and for the last one I saw him physically teleport to my building where he had no line of sight. How do I report that guy?
Depends on what system you are playing on. If Xbox use the menu to look up their gamertag and report it from there. That's why I play solely on Xbox, they take enforcement of cheating very seriously and they don't get pissy for reporting suspected cheating like Call of Duty now does. I know you said he teleported to you, so obviously he was cheating, and if on Xbox when you make a report it flags the gameplay on the Xbox servers, they record absolutely everything in any multiplayer game and they go back and watch it. There was a video on YT years ago that was an interview with the enforcement team and it was amazing. I used to report obvious cheaters and then daily check the Xbox forums to see the person reported complaining about being banned or temporarily suspended. Was hilarious reading some of them threatening legal action. Xbox enforcement is by far one of the best teams protecting multiplayer.
I played this mode for the first time last night and dudeee this is addicting af! Owning the game since release and never tried this mode. I jumped in last night for a quick session like "let´s try this out and go to bed" where afterwards it turned out to be a 3 hour session of hunting enemy snipers. Love it.

I've noticed while playing this game as an invader and being invaded, that a mininum of 90% of the players don't know what they're doing. But, I had the most fun being invaded, since I always knew where the invaders are. Especially in the Chateau. Take out just a few (3) NPC's and you had the whole Chateau under control, while being invaded. I sometimes would play cat and mouse with the invader and took care of him, after I've had enough. Focus = Wallhack :)
I play Authentic so no wallhack. I’ve also realized most players that don’t play authentic get folded when I am the invader. Like the easy and normal players can barely stealth 💀
This mode looks awesome. Im considering getting this game purely for axis invasion. I love how you can unlock cool german weapons and uniforms, but im wondering if it would even be worth it to get it just for this game mode? Anyone got any insight?
100% worth it. The campaign is great, axis invasion whether you're hunting or being hunted is another level. Do the campaign stealth style and you get your monies worth. Levels taking me a few hours at a time atleast

First ten games for me were nothing like this. Just had the players hitting the spot radio whilst constantly camping it. Typically with boobytrapped dead bodies. Most of the map cleared and just sitting & waiting for fresh meat. Utter waste of time for anyone new or even seasoned folk. Never seen any fun in run & gun with 3rd person, yet sitting hours waiting for them to stop spinning circles is a waste of life. A really good concept mode. But ruined by exploiters who don’t want to play the objectives.
I haven't tried the multiplayer yet. This week after I finish unlocking all my equipment. I have not yet played on anything but Authentic mode. I wish the game were harder. And I miss my gold weapon skins, and also the old points tally during the game. The new points / rewards tally does not enhance the 'in game' feeling. And it was stupid to take away the trip mines. I am also greatly disappointed that there are NO shotguns. Shotgun was [and is] my go to weapon as a secondary... So this was a major let down aside from the game being just incredibly too easy. Sniping long shots is no longer even mildly difficult in Authentic mode. In fact, it is a joke.
At 6:20 or so into the video, you didn't get tagged because he saw you, you were tagged because he hit your mine and has the perk that reveals enemies that damage him.
6:45 Not sure if you know but if you use the scope adjustment buttons to change it above 50, it will move the aim assist marker when you take a breath for each shot. e.g if the target is 300m away and you have scope adjustment set to 300, the aim assist marker will be closer to the middle of the scope. You might think "Why do I have to adjust my scope range if the aim assist is telling me where to shoot?" it's because the aim assist takes several seconds to find the mark vertically when you don't adjust it, and the enemy might find cover before you know exactly where to shoot. I usually set mine to 100m because you don't really need the aim assist at that range except if there is wind interference. The other thing that effects this is bullet power (I think that's the name of the stat?) you probably already understand the stats since you've reached 100 kills, but for anyone else curious, as an invader you should just get high bullet power for fast travelling bullets over a long range, because they are less susceptible to bullet drop and wind.
What would be better: A ghillie suit, showing you are one of the most skilled marksman in the entire Herman army OR A satndard-issue military uniform that says nothing Yes thanks autocorrect for making "Herman" capital instead of, like fixing it

The only thing I miss from sniper 4 is if you held the trigger down lightly , you got a cross hair view for the sniper over the shoulder. Now if you press the trigger it goes into the scope only! Whyyyyyy

I started playing yesterday. On my first map, 10 minutes into the game, I'm getting invaded constantly. Lack of players as the game is no longer new has really hurt this mode I think.
No. Total silence. You can only chat with someone who’s on your side during co-op campaign. I highly recommend playing co-op with axis invasion active. Your ally partner and you can chat out a strategy and call out the sniper if one of you sees him first.
You’re right. You wouldn’t believe the amount of melee kills I’ve gotten on people who aren’t listening or paying attention. Just a shame that there’s no unique animation for the bayonet
Without ever playing this game is there any levels with AI fighting each other ? Feel like it'd be awesome to be hunting a invader whilst avoiding yr opponents ai and assisting yrs complete missions

I tought i would like Axis invasio ,but it sucks too many camping snipers or duo snipers invading your game "even on the co -op missions teams dug in not moving from where they are positioned waiting on supply drops then eliminating challengers ,3 men steams one dug in in a building surrounded himself with trip wire and shoe mines ,while his ground squad lay waiting at supply drops "fuck off thats pish .
I fell into one of those map glitches on the DLC Landing Force while running on a road. It would be helpful if the game had a gps or coordinate system with a feedback method to the developer. Love Invasion!
Axis invasion was so much fun... I played the full campaign with it. I killed many invaders, some invaders killed me. It was truly a special experience. I hope for SE VI
I am almost certain that the its a trap part was me though I'm sure that scenario cant be that uncommon so cant 100%. if so it was my first time playing the game with game pass. I turned off invaders after that finished the game and turn it back on so you were my first and last for a while. now I have 106 kills invading as of typing thanks for the lesson lol
Because most of these video game UA-camrs are cheaters they only show you the good stuff they do but not them being killed by other players he probably modded the game so people couldn’t see him I think this axis invasion shut is dumb I just started playing 2 nights ago I got invaded twice so far I killed one and one killed me but it’s dumb to have other players invading your campaign in the middle of a mission now I gotta stop what I’m doing and find the other player smh
Love these video's! Might suggest to use AP bullets by default, since you'll not run out anyway and could get you some extra shots in if they're behind a thin wall/box
least it's better then multiplayer some of my friends idiot one always prefer multiplayer like he thinks it's not a big deal it actually is. multiplayer isn't fun anymore
i think there shouldnt be hit assist with focus in these invasion games, so stupid. There should be stripped of everything which helps shooting with rifle
At the 2:50 mark did he not see you? I'm trying to come up some tactics if I am behind a wall like you were and they are coming towards me. It doesn't seem like I can pop-out quickly and shoot. During your axis invasion at the 2:50 mark he turned the corner and it was like you were iinvisible.
@@daviferreirabarbosa6215 some really basic tips. As allied sniper (Karl) use your focus vision as much as possible. At the side of your map a red ring will point out wich direction the sniper jäger is. As the sniper jäger mark many troops as possible and they might spot the him for you. Also when you press start you can see what there current mission objective is.
I have the same problem but especially with Co op players. It always seems that one player will be spamming the phones every 20 seconds and then the other will use that information to go after me.
Definitely the most ridiculous session I've had so far
If you use Iron Sights on your Primary sniper will there still be a glint for the opponent to see?

i think the invader does alot more damnge tho. in my expernces ive only had to hit them like twice and there alredy died

The NPCs are on the same side as the invader. So they don't attack the invader. The point is to make it easier to invade.

normally I do it make the alarms go crazy and sit outside the area and watch the invader close in. always seems to work for me.

yeah im really bad at remembering to zero my sniper - i definitely should have done that for that long shot
The marker at the top is actually the wind marker; the aim assist and that marker always line up

Then invasions could potentially take hours for each one, that's why they exist. But I do agree it would be more fun.

No. Total silence. You can only chat with someone who’s on your side during co-op campaign. I highly recommend playing co-op with axis invasion active. Your ally partner and you can chat out a strategy and call out the sniper if one of you sees him first.

You’re right. You wouldn’t believe the amount of melee kills I’ve gotten on people who aren’t listening or paying attention. Just a shame that there’s no unique animation for the bayonet

Without ever playing this game is there any levels with AI fighting each other ? Feel like it'd be awesome to be hunting a invader whilst avoiding yr opponents ai and assisting yrs complete missions

No. There are no missions like that, unfortunately. However, as someone who has been invader and invaded, it’s super fun.
Anyone had any skins as the Invader which seem cursed. Mines the Kriegsmarine officer. Without fail something goes wrong when ever it use it.

I tought i would like Axis invasio ,but it sucks too many camping snipers or duo snipers invading your game "even on the co -op missions teams dug in not moving from where they are positioned waiting on supply drops then eliminating challengers ,3 men steams one dug in in a building surrounded himself with trip wire and shoe mines ,while his ground squad lay waiting at supply drops "fuck off thats pish .

I fell into one of those map glitches on the DLC Landing Force while running on a road. It would be helpful if the game had a gps or coordinate system with a feedback method to the developer. Love Invasion!
Axis invasion was so much fun... I played the full campaign with it. I killed many invaders, some invaders killed me. It was truly a special experience. I hope for SE VI

I am almost certain that the its a trap part was me though I'm sure that scenario cant be that uncommon so cant 100%. if so it was my first time playing the game with game pass. I turned off invaders after that finished the game and turn it back on so you were my first and last for a while. now I have 106 kills invading as of typing thanks for the lesson lol

Because most of these video game UA-camrs are cheaters they only show you the good stuff they do but not them being killed by other players he probably modded the game so people couldn’t see him I think this axis invasion shut is dumb I just started playing 2 nights ago I got invaded twice so far I killed one and one killed me but it’s dumb to have other players invading your campaign in the middle of a mission now I gotta stop what I’m doing and find the other player smh

At the 2:50 mark did he not see you? I'm trying to come up some tactics if I am behind a wall like you were and they are coming towards me. It doesn't seem like I can pop-out quickly and shoot. During your axis invasion at the 2:50 mark he turned the corner and it was like you were iinvisible.
The game is silly - he can’t see you because you look like a bush against concrete.

@@daviferreirabarbosa6215 some really basic tips. As allied sniper (Karl) use your focus vision as much as possible. At the side of your map a red ring will point out wich direction the sniper jäger is. As the sniper jäger mark many troops as possible and they might spot the him for you. Also when you press start you can see what there current mission objective is.

I have the same problem but especially with Co op players. It always seems that one player will be spamming the phones every 20 seconds and then the other will use that information to go after me.
